Default Silver Springs

Hi everyone, i recently heard an mp3 of Silver Springs live - i think it was the last night of the dance tour where lindsey had to finish the ending.
I was wondering has anyone got or found a video of this??
If so could you please post it?? Also anyone know why lindsey had to finish it??
Did Stevie's voice give out or was she just so caught up in the emotion??

A wonderful, romantic story says that Stevie couldn't handle the tears towards the end of the song, so Lindsey had to finish it. I think that her voice simply cracked, so he had to sing. And he does a lousy job. Boy, am I in a good mood today or what!? Anyway, here is the song:

I don't know if there's a video but here's a post from a recent discussion:

After all, she often cried at the end of "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You." But then that next-to-final chord kept playing while Stevie stood at the mic. By this time, after what seemed an eternity, she had turned her back to the audience and was standing there in the spotlight kind of frozen in place. Eventually Lindsey came up to her, put his arm around her and finished the final "You could be my silver spring..." line for her looking her dead in the eyes. As the lights came up I could still see that she was just completely overcome. And then as the lights dimmed, the tape track for "Tusk" started playing, and I could still see that she was inconsolable as she marched off stage. It was definitely a real moment.

No! You shouldn't! I've only heard the audio and I totally thought her voice just gave out. I mean, it does all the time on that song, after all...

I was at that show too, and she was crying, but I think it was because her voice was giving out.

Ahahaha, I have THE funniest mental image of this. Shawls billowing, tambourine klunking people in the head, boots in the air.

I love stories like this. It IS romantic. That genuine emotion is part of what makes their songs so powerful. Yeah, they don't bring that every single night, but when they do... wow.
