Agreed with the piano...
When I first heard Sara live in 2004 the first thing that struck me was the cheesy piano/synth sound, and the mechanical way that Brett plays it. Granted, it is a simple part. But please put some dynamics and life into it! Oh and don't get me started on Lindsey... his guitar part during the Tusk tour was the best compliment (live) to a Stevie song EVER, in my opinion. I really wish Lindsey still played like that. In fact, I asked a question to Lindsey during the so called "Q&A" with Lindsey a few years back regarding his guitar style/sounds; how they've changed over the years, and if he ever has to go back and relearn parts. Sara and the Tusk tour was at the forefront of my mind... |
