Default A Satisfied Mind by Bon Iver

I found this on youtube. It's Justin Vernon of Bon Iver performing A Satisfied Mind with the jazz group at his old school. I love Vernon/Bon Iver, but I don't think this is even a patch on Lindsey's cover of it. The mood is very different and this is much less up beat and is almost too drawn out but it's entertaining enough. With Lindsey it was probably chosen because he was going through his rich-but-discontented phase that fits perfectly with the lyrics but I just don't see the same connection with Vernon.

Any thoughts?

Not bad at all. And one of my favorite tracks (maybe my favorite) from the Law & Order album.

I really love Lindsey's take on this tune...

I really love Lindsey's version too, although I equally love the version by The Walkabouts. This one isn't my cup of tea. I don't know, but Bon Iver just pushes the wrong Geraldbutton, with everything they do.

Lindsey's version of this might be my favourite from L&O as well. It's hard to pick from that album since it's all so good.

As much as I love Lindsey, I'm so overwhelmed by Jeff Buckley's version of this that it's really buried LB's for me.
