Ok, kleenex may not be that evocative, but I just get this image of her dressed up in a hot dog costume and it really makes me laugh. Michele
Imagine her twirling around in that...

Yeah, that's one of my favorite stories. She says then they had no skillet and no hamburger either.

My favorite Stevie dictum is:

"There were always weird things going on between us"

-- about her time in Fritz

One of my favs comes from the March 2005 interview with Jim Ladd before she went to Vegas where she says something like,

"Really, nobody wants to hear about how happy you are, people want to hear about your miserable times. ... I like my angst-ridden rock and roll miserableness, I love that! ... We're rockers, we are not nice! ... We can be blissed out when we're 75 and in Italy!"

Obviously that's not word for word what she said but I love how we get the general idea of what she's thinking even though there's like 5 different thoughts in what she's saying, she cracks me up!

Ooooh I LOVE this. I need to find the actual quote and then write it on my hand every day so I remember people do NOT, in fact, hate me for being a 90% angsty writer

(This is kind of a quote...not from an interview or anything)

One of the things I've laughed most about recently was rewatching the Scarlett Stand Back video and listening to Stevie's commentary...that whole video is hysterical, what with the horse trying to kill her repeatedly and all ...at the end when they are in the saloon and the guy is being dragged out, she says real sad like "aww, they're taking him away from me" but then says real loud "but I was already mad at him so what did I care?!!!" Just the way she says it make me LOL

Regarding Christine:

"And I'm sure there were times when I'm flying around the stage in my gossamer chiffon where she had to think to herself, 'Wow, what's this? Fairy school?'"

Sooo cute!!! Of course sweet little Stevie is NOT a witch...in Mick's book there is a caption beside a pic of Stevie that says something like.."you're the most beautiful witch I've ever seen..."
