i get the weirdest looks for the "older" gen when i wear a Mac shirt or whatever and they make some stupid ass comment Quote:
i know exactly where you're coming from the Mac show here in my home city in '04 was the WORST show i've ever been to. not only was it deathly hot and held OUTSIDE but the crowd was AWFUL. they were quiet and dull and sat down for most of the show i was so embarrassed when i later went to Stevie's show here in '06 thinking it would be even worse, if that was possible. we're a fairly conservation city but omg Stevie's show went off. it made me so proud to live here and floor seats...i must insist upon too. for a Mac/Stevie show anyway. other concerts i don't care about. especially being up at the stage i managed to get from fairly far away, up to the stage on my second Stevie tour. Being THAT close when she's singing B&TB i was crying it was just incredible. im glad you decided to give in an GO to the show can't wait to hear your audio

I have to say that Brisbane crowds (generally speaking) are usually just as dismal as your FM crowd in my experience. I went to The Who on Tuesday night and pretty much everyone in the stands (and possibly parts of the floor) sat for almost all of the night, which I just cannot fathom. Of course, I was 4th row on the floor and rocking out with the baby boomers, so I had no issues (other than that I could see THAT well that I started to become rather attracted to Roger Daltrey's chest). But it ties in with the issue of floor seats - I've now become a floor ticket snob for everything. And because I was originally in this thread watching everyone's awesome videos and reading all your wonderful reviews - again, thanks heaps everyone. The fantastic coverage of the US shows is getting me so psyched to see FM here (hopefully, fingers crossed!) Last edited by DoubtfulMiracle; 03-28-2009 at 11:50 PM.. |

**** that Gold Dust Woman was AMAZING. The one I saw in Rochester was very very close but this is the first time I think she did that really long SHAAAAAADOOOOOOW at the end. And in addition to Stevie Mick's drumming is much better on all the Unleashed Gold Dust Woman's then the SYW ones. You can actually hear him play.

Thanks to all who tape these shows so well for us, but what is with the lack of Go Insane. Its like every video taper gets every song in the set but all decide to take a break on Go Insane.
