Same here. Though other sports I don't mind...baseball I can handle, basketball too....but football brings out the hate in me.

Deanna- not only do I not care aboutThe Superbowl (I just found out who was playing last night, on this forum somewhere, ha), but I don't care about football, or any other sporting event for that matter. As soon as Stevie performed, I turned the TV off.

Nope, don't give a flying crap about it. Just another football game and I don't care about football in general. Really couldn't care less about any type of sport, to be honest.

Well as I said it's irrational and unhealthy, my hatred for football. It stems from growing up with some of the meanest, sexist, assholish men in the world and their absolute obsession with football....

I know full well that not all men who love/like football are raging assholes, but I just still hate it with a passion

It's irrational...and I see that, yet still can't get around it.

Other sports were never like that growing up - the men didn't turn into three-headed monsters when they were on - it was just football.

Im with you Deanna, I loathe and despise televised football and baseball. Pretty much all sports for that matter, tho I do enjoy the olympics and some tennis, and some ice skating....but for the most part BLAH!

Yeah, I don't mind any other sports so much...but football? YUCK! I actually do enjoy watching tennis...and figure skating...but beyond that? I do not do the sports thing!
