I agree. I can't wait to hear more from her. I like her backward pesonality.

Yes, backup singer was fab. I liked Sundance too. Fidel was surpisingly good, but I doubt he'll get far.

The judges didn't seem as nasty this time - I wonder if they edited within the last week...

I was wondering the same thing. Last night's judging was *too* nice.

I'm also slightly offended at the editing in general. Especially at the end when we're treated to montages of the contestants singing songs they didn't show during their primary audition - where Simon is screaming at them, "No, we don't want to hear another song!" - which makes the contestants look like nutbags. Only, at the end we find out they've been prompted to sing "Kiss" by Prince or "Burning Love" by Elvis specifically for the closing segment, unknown to them.

I thought I would die when the girl with the sunglassess talked about her "confidentiality"- when she meant confidence.

I hadn't considered that - some may be recorded without the judges present.

But a couple of the people who wind up in the closing montages are ones who have stormed off screaming the F word and flipping the camera crew off. I doubt the crew could then convince those people to come back, even if the judges weren't present. Perfect examples - the black girl with the good voice last night who shoved the camera, and the weird stick juggler guy from last week who was in hysterics afterwards.
