Thanks. I'm always afraid of missing something. Thankfully my memory was good enough to remember I downloaded this show earlier this year.

It was recorded by Jeff Samuels from the audience with some sort of very early digital job. Jeff is a lifelong Deadhead, & is very well known in the Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead circles. Fleetwood Mac was one of his lesser loves: he generally caught them whenever they were in town (Bay Area).

Jeff also recorded the Mountain View Fleetwood show from October 1997, which you've probably heard, too.

We need to give Jeff more credit. We should even invite him to Ledgeville here! Jeff never sells. The Dead community is very strong on trading, so you should never see Jeff's recordings for sale by anyone else. If you do, you have his permission to kill that greedy bastard with an old Grateful Dead live album.

I would gracefully welcome him into the board. And by the way I have not heard that Mountain View Show. Dance shows aren't a favorite of mine. But ill keep that thought in mind that he recorded it. If its anything like Oakland 82 it must be great.

Hoi Will, try www.dimeadozen.org (com? net?), that's the 'new' easytree site. You might have to register again though.

Exclamation Fleetwood Mac-12/05/77 Live In Toyko, Japan

Fleetwood Mac-12/05/77 Live In Toyko, Japan

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=59563

Artist: Fleetwood Mac
Title: Live In Toyko, Japan
"Japan Young Music Special"
Date: 12/05/77
Venue: Budokan
Country: Japan
Type: DVD-Rip from soundboard video recording
Quality: A/A-
Media: FLAC

1.01 Oh Well 03:29
1.02 Rhiannon 08:33
1.03 Over My Head 03:45
1.04 Go Your Own Way 06:08
1.05 World Turning 08:08
1.06 Blue Letter 05:03
1.07 The Chain 06:12
1.08 Songbird 03:43

Source: Pro-Shot DVD SDB DVD-R
Ripped with: Phillips CDR560, TDK CD-R AUD
Audio Restoration: Gold Wave
Files: FLAC Fronted Level 6

This is a rip of the DVD which has been posted here a while ago (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=35533)! Unfortuanetly, my copy has 2 3-4 seconds long errors during the song Rhiannon and Go Your Own Way! This is the original seeders comment:

"This is conveniently between songs.
3) On the "Young Music Show"
-at 7:00 in Rhiannon there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds
-at 17:15 in Go Your Own Way there is a weird sound for about 2 seconds"

If anyone may have full copies of those two songs, please let me know and I'll try to ressed them! This is no upgrade, there are probably better recordings out there, but it is a great concert anyways!
I am also trying to rip the Largo 1975 show from that DVD too and upload it tomorrow!

Trade freely, do whatever you like with that recording, but DON'T SELL IT!

David

Thanks

Fleetwood Mac
Hollywood Bowl
Hollywood,Ca
September 1, 1980
(Final Night Of "Tusk" Tour)

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-d...list=1#seeders

source : audience (of unknown gen)
there is tape drag at the tape flips
i believe this to be on the master also
tapes provided by : Dr. K
transfer : markp

[note from seeder]
i have not torrented anything that was not directly transferred from the master tape this is the first exception i decided to make (a couple of friends who know how i speak of this show will not be suprised that i chose to make a exception of this) i am sorry i cannot give you a specific generation but to do so would be a guess or a lie and i will not do that i have loved this show from the first time i heard it and borrowed the source cassettes i copied 25+ years ago to do this transfer i went to the show at the bowl the night before but did not tape-i know there is a recording of the 8/31 in circulation but i have never gotten it this is from the final night of the "Tusk" tour for my money fleetwood mac would never ever be the same live after the final cords of this show faded into the hollywood night sky and for that i am sad 82 and everything that followed just paled in comparison to 79/80 as did almost everything before it in the buckingham/nicks version
