I think he started wearing this hat on the last american leg in August 1980. I lvoe that look, with just the hat and the T-shirt. Am I right on the both?

Probably just the last two nights in L.A.

Generally, when you see a photo of it you can be fairly certain it was a Hollywood Bowl photo -- like the photos on the VHS cover of the Tusk doc or some of the photos inside the '80 Live album. I didnt see him wear it in San Antone Tx.
