A plea for all the animal lovers here

I'm writing you today on behalf of RESCUE, the Arizona animal rescue group that I so dearly love. Every year RESCUE stages a bowl-a-rama to raise much-needed funds for the homeless cats and dogs in Maricopa County (don't forget it's Stevie's hometown!). I was heavily involved with RESCUE when I lived in Phoenix, and my passion for them remains to this day.

This is an incredible group of people, who work tirelessly to reduce the euthanasia population. I acquired my dog, Tiger, as well as a litter of kittens with feline leukemia, who are no longer with me, through RESCUE. All have made a huge impact on my life.

Today I ask you to donate whatever you can to Julie Seal and RESCUE for the bowl-a-rama. I was a charter member of the bowling team, having bowled the first year. I moved before the second bowl-a-rama, or I would be bowling on August 6th, along with the rest of the volunteers. Please keep in my mind that EVERY DOLLAR you donate goes directly toward the animals. There is no overhead associated with this event.
