My New Favorite Linsdey Vocal is
"Not That Funny" - Mirage.
Ok, that's also one of my new favorite guitar moments, but the vocal is the main one.
Geesh, I can't believe anyone is suprised Lindsey plays the Banjo so well. that dude is a crazy pickin' fool!
And, wait, look how *even Mick* kicks it out seriousleh for a moment there! Sheeb.

The death of anyone is tragic (well, almost anyone, see my views on the death penalty).
But to be honest, I'm not big on the Beatles and the Wilburys is the only other project of Harrison's with which I'm really familiar. I only know maybe two of his solo songs and while I enjoy them, I never really had the urge to seek out anymore of his work.
So while his death may have been tragic in the way that anyone's death is tragic, the only loss to me was the dashed hopes of a Wilburys reunion.

Just wanted to say I love your signature pictures of Blackadder, Victoria! My favorite pic of Rowan is the one with the gotee.

Thanks a bunch. I adore the entire Blackadder series. Without a doubt (IMO) it is the funniest show ever. I have the whole thing on DVD and I watch it frequently. I also have "The Whole Damn Dynasty," a book with the scripts from all four seasons. My friends and I are forever quoting it just in regular conversation. I've also had two Blackadder shirts made - one with the "private parts" quote (see my sig) and another that says "exquisite floppily doppilies" across the chest.

P.S. - Rowan Atkinson isn't exactly a sexy man, but there's something about him in his Renaissance garb w/ that goatee that is very appealing. But then again, I'm a Ren Faire geek, so ya know.

I absolutely LOVE that song. I love it on Gift of Screws, I love it on SYW, and I can't get enough of the live version. I even had a t shirt made that says "Come" across the chest and "Can You Feel the Fever?" on the back. I get some rather puzzled and sometimes offended looks when I wear it.

Eh, I like it live, but it's torturous on the album. Pure swill.

We'll have to agree to disagree. It's one of my all time favorite LB tracks, following not too far behind "Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind."

okay, I'll put in my $.02:

"Oh Diane"

I was listening to this the other night and I guess it hit me how great his voice really sounds on this song...and it's not a favorite of mine, I never even really liked this song before. I guess I have a whole new appreciation for it now.

I like it. Especially the verses, with the "think of me sweet darlin's". Plus the fact that its so sexual is cool IMO
