16 weeks off before Australia

I think it's been mentioned on a different thread but I thought I'd bring it up again anyway. The band have about 16 weeks off after their last European show in Dublin on July 11th.

So my point is, will they be working on the new album or just having the whole time off. I think it's a really good opportunity for Stevie to get herself together and bring something to the table and then she can have a much needed break after December. Then, early next year they can bring the whole thing together.

Any thoughts on this?

I could have misread this, but didn't Mick mention at a recent meet and greet that the band wasn't going to turn to the new album until next March? Apparently, he was still pretty vague about Stevie's participation.

Much as I want them to work on an album I think they need to rest. I saw them in London on May 27th and then June 26th and although both were fantastic sets you could see the lack of energy in comparison. Even Lindsay wasn't jumping nearly as high

Maybe the Mac will go on TV's Celebrity Family Feud and go against another classic rock band.ABC is running the crap out of it lately.I guess they ran out of reality crap show ideas.That would be good.

Also I mention again that Stevie should get her feet takin' care of with a specialist unless she has already.

There are 2 dates to go in Dublin, tomorrow and 7/11, then a 3 month break.

I could see them resting for a month, but 3? Get to work b!tches!!!

I think they'll spend a long time relaxing. Mick will hang out at the restaurant and play the odd Hawaiian gig. John will sail. Lindsey will spend much needed time with his family. Both he and Christine will, I'm sure use the time to write more songs; By the time they get to the studio they should be well-stocked. Stevie...who knows?
