The album has FINALLY made it in to the top 20 of the Amazon albums chart, currently sitting at #19. It will definitely get higher than that but it's still quite an achievement seeing as it's a week before the album is actually released.

I read in one of the interviews that Stevie did for this album that one of the songs is about making a Fleetwood Mac album. Is that "24 Karat Gold"? It seems some of the lyrics could be taken that way:

"there were dreams to be sold" - a reference to "Dreams" and selling records from personal experiences?
"chain of chains" - a reference to "The Chain" and how the Mac is the "chain of chains" (the ultimate bond)?
"you like my 24 karat gold" - a reference to how she helps Mac be successful?

Plus its a very Nicks/Mac sounding song what with the prominent bass and spooky guitar. I don't have the liner notes as some of you do, so I can't really say...this is all speculation on my part. Did she reference in the liner notes which song is about making a Mac album?

So no clue from the lyric booklet which song has to do with the making of a Mac album?

I just listened to all of the songs; the album is really great overall, with a distinctive feel to it among all her other albums.

Who is the male singer in Blue Water? That was a surprise.

Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum. The other two members are also singing harmony. Sharon and Lori are not. The band (strangely) is not credited. At least not on the liner notes for the vinyl version. Weird.

The snippet for belle fleur is reminiscent of Annabel Lee. Does the full song resemble it?

Not in the slightest. I love both songs but "Belle Fleur" blows "AL" out of the water, IMO.

This whole album blows IYD out of the water. I love IYD, but 24KG is just totally classic Stevie. I wish "Lady From The Mountains" aka "Moonlight" stayed more true to the demo like these have.
