Not that I need to say it, but...hate begets hate.

I worked in Watertown when I still lived in MA. It's a lot of duplex style homes that are close together with lots of alley ways and small, hidden spaces. I think it will be difficult for them to find someone in that area. It's all so sad.

So sorry for the people of Boston. I really hope that they nab this guy soon. Hope everyone that had to get out town after the concert was able to.

After seeing the action in my neighbor hood a month ago with my neighbors situation. I can imagine what Boston and vicinity is going through with this lockdown.

I was listening to the radio earlier tonight when they were talking about those idiots were on the loose as the FM concert was going on.

I had a lump in my throat as I heard this news .I felt releaved as I know FM it self and the fans made it out of the venue and home safe.

They had the Uncle of these brothers on the radio today. He said "They were no good from the start.".

I was wondering if anyone who was there noticed if the venue had extra security?

There was tons of police at the venue, like the homeland security police were lined up outside the Garden.. and at the arena there was normal security checks.. like metal detectors, probably looking for transmitters. I don't know what's normal for an event at TD Garden for security but it seemed like A LOT last night. Not so much once you actually got to the stadium though.

Hi Summerlong! Great to come across other locals here (though under unfortunate circumstances).

I am glad this ended! I just left Boston for the west coast. My sister in law is a orthepedic surgeon at Mass General and I believe worked on some of the victims. We just had lunch at the Forum restaurant (near where one of the bombs went off) before I left. Glad all the Mac fans are safe. I was worried when the fugitive was still on the loose since FM will be playing in CT soon.
