price drops already! (and only presales)

love it!

people who bought same tickets on presale yesterday paid about $60 more for exact same ticket that already dropped in price today. i bet those people are pi******ed!

and it's only presale, the regular onsale didn't even start - so that was FAST! :]

although i'd love it even better if they kept their ridiculous over-pumped prices and played to empty arenas or had to cancel bunch of shows.

Elle, if someone posted how happy they were that some Buck/Vie shows sold poorly last year, would you be ok with that? It's so jarring to see you post comments like this, when you wouldn't like it if someone had done the same to you. I said to you a few weeks back when you threatened to troll here, that it was very unlike you, and you responded that I should have known you wouldn't do something like that. And then you post this thread, where you're laughing at someone because they paid more for their ticket than if they had waited a few days.

I'm sorry you're upset, but these posts aren't like you. Be happy tickets are selling poorly and keep hoping that shows are canceled. Maybe it makes you feel better if other people are as upset as you are. I have to admit I've done that before in my life, been unhappy and tried to bring other people down, too.

elle 05-03-2018 05:52 PM

^^ you are funny. why again are you in this forum? this is where people unhappy with the fakewood band are, you know the ones that get on your nerves. :)

and btw - i'm doing you a favor. i'm telling you - save your money and you will get better tix for lower prices later. so - you're welcome! :wavey:

I don't think she's happy that people overpaid, BUT that the tour isn't selling as well as they hoped, and that MEANS that they f*cked up by firing Lindsey.

Big difference: The BuckVie tour did not involve backstabbing and duplicity. I would call this karma.

It's not that funny, is it?

SORRY but a beloved band member was FIRED. He didn't choose not to participate. FIRED!!!! None of the five have EVER been fired and we are PISSED. Buckle up because our anger isn't going away. This is how i feel about the price drop. :]:]:]:]:lol::lol::lol::lol:

sodascouts 05-03-2018 06:14 PM

I want this tour to do badly so that they will realize they made a mistake in firing Lindsey and ask him back. Then, he can come back, they will be the Rumours 5 again, and all of this will just be a horrible chapter in their past.

I'm sorry for the people who overpaid, but I am rooting for this tour to fail.

justcrazylove 05-03-2018 06:20 PM

Oh I want them to ask him back, and for him to tell them to suck it. Or even better only if Stevie is fired.

I haven't bought a ticket, but if I were going to, I would also be happy about a price drop.

But I stand by what I said- if fans of Mick and John were angry they weren't included in the Buck/Vie tour, and they had laughed about poor attendance at the Buck/Vie shows, elle wouldn't have liked it. And I don't remember anyone posting here, for any reason, that they hoped Lindsey and Christine's tour bombed. But when elle makes it a point to slam Stevie superfans from another forum for gloating about Lindsey being fired, and then posts a thread gloating that tickets are selling poorly, it's the pot calling the kettle black, that's all.

You can say FIRED a thousand times. It doesn't matter. They don't get it. Or it's nicer to act as if it doesn't matter.

The comparison is plain stupid. And I can say whatever I want because this person blocked me a long time ago, so :cool::cool:

Oh, you know me: instead of whining of how my favorite band member is being mistreated, I fight the fight. :xoxo:

Neal 05-03-2018 06:50 PM

Well the price drops got me. I caved and bought tix to both San Jose and Fresno.

I guess I feel a little better knowing that I'll be seeing two shows on this tour for the price of what one cost me last time...

I didn't respond to you before, that's all. But I appreciated your polite comment to SteveandChris in a different thread, honest. And you definitely can say and feel whatever you want, I wasn't challenging your right to do so. Or anyone else. I just hate to see people kind of going at each other here. And that's directed at everyone, including myself.

As far as tickets selling poorly, I could not care less, for the band, anyway. They'll be fine no matter what. But gloating about fans spending more money, or missing out on a concert because it was canceled, that's akin to people gloating about Lindsey being fired, and that was my point, that's all.

Hmmm, funny because I commented on your posts many, many times and you never answered me, so I kinda assummed you were still blocking me, and now that I mention it...

Like Homer said, Elle was gloating about the band having to low prices, but then she said it was better if they kept them high and have to play to empty arenas. We're on a mission against the band, not against fans.

singertobe 05-03-2018 08:47 PM

WHAT?! Do I get any of my money back?

singertobe 05-03-2018 08:59 PM

For the heck of it I looked up how much a Taylor Swift concert ticket cost. $200. And those are some elaborate sets. In a Fleetwood Mac show there's just a projector in the back. Why do we have to pay so much while the new generation gets to see their singers with fancy sets for $200?

You don't have to pay it..just say no.

Mmmm, Don’t hold your breath, I can see the scenario in 2-3 years time,
presuming they are all fit and well.

Mick re-introducing Lindsey back into the family fold for a final, final tour

I can hear him saying that old phrase of his about “the chemistry between these two” etcetc

Ticket sales are extremely strong in Sunrise, FL. I checked this morning and the pre-sale is still going on. The site had a statement "Only single seats available" It appears they sold out all presale except for 4 tickets in the entire arena. Each of the 4 seats are nowhere near each other. You cant even get any pre-sale seats together. ALL of those high priced tickets ARE SOLD OUT. When you check the arena for available tickets ONLY 4 remain (only 4 dots on the screen). And the reason they are still available is because they are single seats

In florida's case - probably retired folks with way more money than they know what to do with.

ryan4136 05-04-2018 09:51 AM

Florida is home base for TP/Heartbreakers, tons of TP fans there....no shocker.

If the Mac had taken in Bob Seeger their Michigan sales would be through the roof too.

Nah
Most Heartbreakers fans are so opposed to Mike joining the Mac. Everyone on a Heartbreaker page was saying how much Fleetwood Mac sucked. I get it, two different kinds of music. Central and Northern Florida maybe I would agree with your theory.

Well, now that the full sale is up, there are literally entire sections of available seats in Sunrise, so... pre-sale might have done well because they limited it greatly?

Who knows. The picture you posted just shows the back of the arena. For tickets just going on sale, its a brisk sale so far. I just cant believe the prices. So much more expensive than On With The Show. I found my seats from 2013 and they are hundreds of dollars more

jeets2000 05-04-2018 10:37 AM

Yeah, I mean here's one that shows the full floor and the other side sections. I'm just not convinced it's selling spectacularly well, especially considering the fact that the gray dots don't necessarily mean "seat sold." Even if I were going to see this tour, the last tour taught me it's smart to wait for the ticket drops, which inevitably come about a week out from the show date. It's nerve racking, but it was usually worth it.

Here's a link to the Sunrise page, if anyone is interested in seeing for themselves. I've looked at a few venues so far, and they all kind of look like this to some extent. I don't think it means they're not selling... I mean, people have almost a year to buy tickets in some cases.

I wish they made the Platinum seats a different color as they do the resale seats. I got all excited earlier thinking there was a 13th row center pair of seats at face value because they were blue like everything else. Nope, not so much.

For tickets that just went on sale, its pretty good IMHO. Stevie sold out arenas during 24k Gold tour and the first week of ticket sales had far fewer tickets sold.

rhiannondontgo 05-04-2018 03:59 PM

Has Lindsey ever filled an arena? If I remember correctly his shows seem to always take place in casinos, wineries, school auditoriums, and tiny club type venues. Something tells me FM won’t be feeling any jealousy towards him and his “small machine” career any time in the future, honestly.
