This re-release of Christine McVie's 1984 solo album (out of print for some time) features some of the most evocative songwriting of Christine's career. Produced by the legendary Russ Titelman (Rickie Lee Jones, Eric Clapton), the album boasts guest appearances from fellow Fleetwood Mac members Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood and contributions from Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton. In it's original release, this album spawned 2 hit singles: "Got a Hold on Me" and "Love Will Show US How."

    Lullaby music to calm adults

    Christine McVie by Christine McVie CD

    I feel that Christine Mcvie was always the driving force of Fleetwood Mac. This was her debut solo work and one of the best out there. With Steve Winwood appearing, and help from Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham how could it be bad?! From beginning to end this album is outstanding!The only reason I bought the cd, is that I don't have a turntable in my car to play my vinyl!

    Great album of the 1980's

    Christine McVie is a former member of Fleetwood Mac. This 1980's solo CD showcases her vocal talents and features lots of guest appearances. It also has two near-hits on it, entitled "Love Will Show Us How" and "Love's Got A Hold On Me." If you are a fan of 1980's Fleetwood Mac and / or Stevie Nicks, you will probably get a kick out of this album.
