Default Sorcerer

I was listening to the samples of TISL on amazon and just came across this song. I can't believe it! I remember this song from my childhood but I never had a clue it was Stevie. I can so vividly remember hearing my dad play this on his stereo in the basement and listening to it during car rides.
As soon as I heard the chorus I got butterflies in my stomach. It's just one of those songs that you know, but wouldn't remember knowing until you heard it again...if that makes any sense lol. I know I would have came across it eventually, but I'm glad I did now because it has made me so happy.

You're killing me, Caroline. I remember "Rhiannon" from *my* childhood.

That's awesome that you rediscovered the song. I love it when that kind of thing happens. Like nearly everything on Trouble In Shangri-La, "Sorcerer" is quite good, although I honestly prefer the piano-based Marilyn Martin cover of it more (it's on the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack from the 1980s, and Stevie sings backing vocals on it).

I'm glad that the song brings back such fond memories.

'Sorcerer" would make it into any Top 10 Stevie songs I ever drew up. Love to hear your love for it, Caroline 79.
