Baseball Depression
Three weeks ago today, the SF Giants took over first place for the first time since May. Today, they lost their 15th out of 18th games and fell to 6 1/2 out of first place, stinking up the cellar of the NL West.
There is no shot for the playoffs, so they need to fire manager Felipe Alou, get rid of the older guys they brought to build a team around Bonds, bring up the kids in the minors, and start planning for next year. That is the only way I can bear to watch them the rest of the year. How's your team doing?
