Default Shows people love but you can't get into...

So there's some sort of Cheers story on NPR right now...and that got me thinking....

What are some shows that everyone seems to love - but that you never just got into?

Here are some on my list:

Cheers (though I love the theme song)
Mash
Murphy Brown

It's on Nick At Nite now, but very late at night. I think past midnight. I'm dying for the second season, I'm surprised my first season DVDs haven't died from laser rot yet.

I also LOVED the one where she inadvertantly stole Socks, the Clinton cat - and also the one where she and Corky (LOVE HER) also got loaded on the plane and ordered everything from the HS catalog

I loved that show!

I agree about MASH. Never got into Seinfeld, either.

I still don't understand the whole CSI and Law and Order craze (and why do they have so many spinoff shows?).

I love the Socks episode!!!!!!

I also love the one where Murphy took credit for one of Corky's stories and Corky got back at her by stealing Murphy's stories right on the air. That was classic.

Seinfeld is the one I get the most flack for not liking, which is weird because I love Curb Your Enthusiasm...

I also never got into Charmed, which all my friends have been raving about for years. Again, weird because I'm a big fan of just about every supernatural themed show out there.

OMG - Garry Marshall was HYSTERICAL everytime he was on screen as was Tomlin - though she came in too late.

He says sheepishly - a court clerk once referred to me as "Miller Redfield" after an oral argument

Exclamation Hmmm...

Just a few (Let's say I basically hate network TV...The only watchable show is ABC's "Lost")

American Idol
The Simple Life
Friends
Seinfeld
Everybody Loves Raymond (Except me!)
The Simpsons
Alias
Law & Order
Desparate Housewives (Watched it once after everyone here raved about it, turned it due to boredom)
Survivor
CSI
ER
Andy Griffith
The Dukes of Hazzard
Green Acres
The Cosby Show
Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire
Cheers
Sex in the City (aka "C___ with no t*tties")
Six Feet Under

Noooo!
I do think MASH is a guy thing. I love it, and the Hallmark Channel's 2 hour daily dose just started.
Seinfeld is only the greatest show of all time!!!

I never cared much for Cheers.
I don't get the CSI thing either. Or all the reality TV.

"guy thing" & "Hallmark Channel" just don't seem to fit in the same sentence.

The original CSI is great, the spinoffs are weak. Law & Order...same thing.
