It was in my head even though it was not accurate. Is not a shuffle a bit of honky tonk? It's what was always in my head. My first live witness of Dont Stop was on her 1984 solo tour. But every tour I have seen on youtube shows her playing the grand piano for Dont Stop. When technology came out the grand piano may not have been needed as much. I suppose because it was always used for Songbird, why not use it for HAEWAFY too.
I actually loved the piano intro's to SS And Rhiannon. Beautiful.

Agreed. She should have used the piano on more songs.

They should have done Why a lot more with piano intro. The boot I have with B Welch has the Come a little Bit Closer plus Why Intro. Kind of cool.

Hey Macfan, what do you think of the backing vocals on Spare Me.

Just fantastic in my opinion. Sounds like Bare Trees!! (her harmony with herself)

Yes very good. I love the uptempo Just Crazy Love too.
George and her band harmonizes with her really well. Its incredible how a tour with Loggins Messina created songs, solo bands, marriages, friends, duets, etc for the rest of the band's existence.

Yes. I have always said you could do a family tree from the connections that lasted from that tour. Besides Sara who was Loggin's tour manager's wife who became Stevie's best friend and then Mick's wife. Her husband wrote Love In Store with Chris. Kenny of course did his duet hit with Stevie. George was Kenny's bass player. The list goes on and on. Todd played with Hall and Oats but he and George were part of Mick's band too.

.
I remember the Cleveland crowd jamming to the Welch era tunes. I paid close attention to see if anyone knew them and they did.
