It sounds interesting, however it will be difficult just because the person who killed John will be referenced a lot throughout. I am not comfortable with really acknowledging this person and Yoko and Paul made a statement many years ago about Beatles fans even using the person's name...

However, it is a part of history and it happened. It was a tragedy. Julian recently stated that both he and Sean were dealt a very hard blow with what happened to their father, and I guess if I do watch it it will be for Julian. I've always loved Julian because he went through a lot and his relationship with his father was prevented from becoming what it would have eventually became because of what happened. And that's the real tragedy for that family, though both sons have turned out so great.

I won't watch it Saturday evening but I may watch it if it's on youtube.

Incidentally, while on the subject of John...can anyone list their TOP TEN JOHN SONGS (including Beatle John if you want). Just for fun...

Default Sean Lennon video performance of Dark Matter/White Light

I understand how you feel Nico about watching this CNN documentary on John's
assassination.I also need to get back here when I have a chance to post my 10 favorite John Lennon or songs he wrote with the Beatles. There is so many I want to think about it a while. Now for another update. While we wait for Lindsey Buckingham's new solo music CD to come out.And we wait for Stevie Nicks new music CD to be released. And we wait as many us have waited and keep waiting, sometimes for decades... For Fleetwood Mac to maybe record and release some new songs on a CD.Or yet for another Greatest hits tour. We still have not had the bands final farewell tours before they retire.

"Dark Matter/White Noises" is the the featured video today on 'The Live Buzz ', curated by Nic Harcourt.

Default Julian talks about 30th anniversary of his Dad 's death

This was posted on Radio 105.9 web site.

Julian talks about fathers death as 30th anniversary approachs
December 3rd 2010
John Lennon's first son Julian sat down with CNN recently to talk about his father's untimely death, and how it's affected him. This Wednesday, December 8, will mark the 30th anniversary of the day the murderous cowardly scumbag.(My name for him) shot the famous Beatle, and his recent bid for parole has made headlines. While his bid was denied this time, it remains unclear whether or not he will one day be released from prison. Julian talks about that possibility, and many other subjects surrounding his father's death in the video below.

Radio RockonTour Streaming Live online at WLOY @ Noon on Tuesday, December 7, 2010.
"John Ono Lennon Forever" is scheduled to stream live from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, 12/7/2010.
Radio RockonTour presents a special live broadcast in memory of the late John Ono Lennon. This December 8th marks the 30th anniversary of his tragic assassination outside his home in 1980. John’s recorded legacy with The Beatles and as a soloist remains popular today and is anticipated to generate commercial success for decades to come.
Episode #25, “John Ono Lennon Forever”, celebrates John Lennon’s creativity as a composer and showcases his compositions as a Beatle, a solo artist and his songs as recorded by other singers. This program spotlights obscure recordings by John and a rare duet performed by Ringo Starr and STEVIE NICKS on a 1994 Harry Nilsson song written especially for John.
Songs recorded in tribute to John Lennon by George Harrison, Elton John Paul McCartney and Queen are featured on the playlist. Live tracks and vinyl cuts are included in the mix of material. John Lennon’s music continues to exercise a profound influence on emerging composers and artists.
