Default Great concert video from the Behind the Mask tour

I don’t know if this video has been seen here before, but you may want to check out this video on YouTube- for some reason I’m having trouble making a link, but if you go to YouTube and type in Fleetwood Mac Stabler Arena 1990-11-06 you’ll see the entire show.

Besides probably being one of the last times Christine sang Save Me, it’s notable because she looks incredible, Rick’s guitar work is off the hook, and there’s an unbelievably crazy scene where some dude rushes up to Stevie during Stand Back and she sings on like nothing happened! I mean, the guy literally grabs her from behind, and she doesn’t even react. Which sadly goes to show how messed up she was on Klonopin at the time, because her non-reaction is unreal.

That’s it, Villavic- thank you very much for posting the link. I feel like this video had already been posted here, but I couldn’t find it. It’s definitely a must see for any fan of that era. For 1990 and being recorded by a fan in the audience, it’s actually pretty good quality.

In the way back days of online buying of bootlegs, I had this show on VHS. I posted it here awhile ago. Its notable in that Stevie almost gets tackled during Stand Back and that its sort of a home coming for Rick Vito. He is from the Lehigh Valley region of PA (Allentown/Bethlehem).
The Gainsville FL show is on youtube and its almost equal in quality. That show is notable because it was the first concert when the BTM tour resumed in the States after Chris's dad passing. Its from October 1990 and they were making up all of the cancelled dates. The tour was changed to The Farewell Tour with no opening guests. Save Me was still in the set but when I saw them one month later it was dropped for Say You Love Me.
I am very fond of these shows. The band really rocked. I loved hearing the new music. The new guys had their footing in the band and they sounded better than 1987. Looking back I feel bad for Stevie for being so tranquilized but she had unusual energy and danced quite a bit on stage. Chris and Stevie wore the shortest skirts of their career during this tour. Chris had great legs even in 1990. I sat behind her and watched them all night. I think Tear It Up worked really well as an encore and loved the opening with In The Back Of My Mind. Rhiannon came back to the set on this tour and Stevie would sit on the stage floor in the middle of the song. During Everywhere Stevie would spin in this giant cape and did her I WANNA BE WITH YOU's. In Pittsburgh her spinning cape hit her microphone and it wobbled back and forth and almost fell over. The Albany show is also on youtube with the infamous Stand Back where Stevie's mic goes out and she gets lost in the timing and the band has to try and sync back together. Not sure what happened but its a fascinating clip. Landslide came back into the set on this tour. I know the Dance made it famous again but it was this tour when it came back. However when the Dance came out, this era of Fleetwood Mac was sort of forgotten.

Thanks, Macfan4life, I’ll check it out this week! Can never get enough of this era, there’s so little stuff out there.

This Stabler Arena (in Bethlehem, PA?) show looks great. Thanks for posting. I will enjoy watching this with a drink this weekend.
