Default Best Stevie Demos

Sure we've discussed this before. But given that Stevie's first single is Secret Love, I have been listening to some of her demos. There are a lot of great ones, but for me, three in particular that I just love

1. Forest of the Black Roses
2. Julia
3. Sanctuary

Would love to have these released some day. Just curious what others love.

If we're going on all her demos - including ones that were later remade on Studio albums. I'd go with the following songs in my top ten:

1) Smile At You (Angry Version)
2) Lady From The Mountain
3) Running Through The Garden (Rock A Little / Mirror Mirror Demo)
4) Planets Of The Universe (Rumours Demo)
5) All The Beautiful Worlds
6) If You Ever Did Believe (Demo version)
7) Joan Of Arc
8) Julia
9) Rock A Bye Baby (Really love this one, oddly)
10) If You Were My Love (Mirage demo. Such a shame a high-quality version of this doesn't exist!)

I'm surprised there's no love for Castaway. One of my favorite demos is the one from the Uncirculated Rumors bootleg. It's such a shame that it sounds like it's from a cassette that's been dragged behind a car for several miles and then soaked in warm salt water. But the harmonies she does with herself are so cool.

This one almost made my list - I love its groove - but it's too repetitive as a demo. I'm sure if she decided to relase it, such a problem would be dealt with, but as it stands...

I love this song too.

I laugh to myself because I change one of the words. I sing it to myself like this:
Living in a hole. Was this your world or just my darkness. Nowhere to go. You know there are angels running from the homeless.
