Here's the link from a while ago.
https://audioboo.fm/boos/1654613-tra...y-11th-october

This confirms a few of my hunches:
1. She was going crazy (in a way).
2. She's seeing (or saw) a shrink.

Also, she used that "plaigarizing myself" thing she used in the ITM interviews. Also, 8 songs is a pretty good number, even if they were not complete songs. Future looks bright on the Christine end of things.

And she said she feels 20/30 years old, and it clearly shows.

The fact that she said, "if I did it, I would have to tour obviously." that is huge!!

Michele is the only one that believed she would be back. I was dead wrong and I love it!

I love these interview snippets. She sounds so relaxed and happy. Those are some great stories that I hadn't heard before.

I never thought she'd ever do anything again. I'm thrilled that I was wrong. If she has 8 songs, 2 that are pretty far along, I think an album is a pretty good chance, maybe even a small tour, most likely in the U.K.

What a year this has been for Christine McVie fans.

Thanks to applebucked for posting these this week. Hopefully, that Johhny Walker interview is coming soon.

Christine came to the Radio 2 studio last August to do some interviews before the London shows. This is the one where she said "if they ask me, I'll play".

Are we sure this is the real Christine and not her evil twin/ITM cover body double?

I have already seen her live, when at the O2. I never *ever* thought I'd see that.

She just keeps surprising me...

I never expected the touring bit at all.

I wonder if she and Lindsey shared any shrink stories to each other.

Former Fleetwood Mac band member Christine McVie picks her final songs in the Tracks Of My Years. Today, she picks a Deep Purple song that is widely recognised as having one of greatest guitar riffs ever along with a James Taylor track taken from his 1975 album Gorilla. There's a play of the Album Of The Week, the love song dedications and the Friday round of PopMaster. Christine McVie joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 and left in1998 shortly after Fleetwood Mac was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Christine is currently working on new material which is planned for a forthcoming solo album which she describes as marking a return to her musical sound from the seventies

Yes. I'm a little because there's no reason she has to tour and the band should get a clue.

But it's nice to hear her talk this way, all the same.

As for me, I'm not angry at all. Just happy she's getting into her musical groove again. I have this hunch that her rejoining FM is on the horizon somewhere, but she'll do this whole solo thing first before anything else. Maybe the touring for the solo record is her getting her feet wet before going back to the big Mac machine, but who knows?

That's what I mean. If she is trying to get her feet wet because she feels that she has to tour with FM if a reunion is going to happen, I think that's unnecessary. I don't think recording should be bound up with touring.

Of course, if she wants to tour for her own reasons, that's wonderful. She even mentioned doing a few dates for Meantime, but those never happened. I would go out of my way to see her if she did do dates this time, even if I have to go to Europe.

Michele
