That's the thing, though, it didn't last. at least not for her or John. maybe they quit for a month! I'm sure they always went in with the best of intentions... but i don't see being on the road as the most positive environment for beating any addiction. that just wasn't the reality.

Exactly, there are restaurants, rehearsals, sound checks, make-up/wardrobe, hotel bars, pubs... ALL AROUND THE WORLD...

Hard to lose weight too, I imagine.
