Another great one! What I find interesting in both this and Come a Little Bit Closer are the pleasing strumming guitar riffs. I’m assuming it’s Welch who is responsible for both since they bear a similar style and attack. I never thought of him as an acoustic strummer, but here’s evidence to the contrary.

Why weren’t these gems released with the remastered pre Buckingham Nicks Fleetwood Mac box set?

Because they are the product of an individual fan's efforts to isolate certain features of the songs (in this case the vocals and acoustic guitar).

Just imagine how cool it would have been if a professional engineer had gotten a hold of the master tapes and did some of this! Imagine hearing "Heroes are Hard to Find" and "Prove Your Love" with just the piano and vocals?

The creator of these bits is really talented. Go check out his channel. A few months ago I posted his stripped down version of Gate and Garden in the Stevie forum and the song is 100x better without the overbearing backing vocals. He has a version of Two Kinds of Love with no sax and is vocals and piano only and its incredible.
On these older Chris tracks you cant hear or would not even know there is acoustic guitar so not only do the vocals come out and shine but we hear something we may not pick up on.

These are amazing, that why I thought they could have been official outtakes.
