I voted for Love in Store. But if I have to think of an "other" song, I'd say Eyes of the World.

Absolutely! They would have been the time to do it. And that set list needed another rocker.
That said, I’ve always wished Christine would have unearthed Spare Me. At that time, her voice was in top form and she easily could have done it. |

You're right, her voice was fantastic even up to 2004. Imagine, Prove Your Love on The Dance?

Eyes of the World is not on the DVD or CD, at least my versions and what I can see on Wikipedia, but I seem to remember it being mentioned in the context of The Dance. Did it appear in the tour setlist at some point?

Gosh, I'm not sure about Dance. I think it was played early on SYW.

Yep if I’m remembering correctly, it was played at the very first show of the tour and was replaced with Second Hand News at the second show.

I remember how excited I was that they were back! It was a great time/era.

It was my first opportunity to see them. I was too young to fly (probably alone) to the US for the Mirage tour.

Yes, 1997 was the first time I saw them live. In 1982 I wish to go to a Mirage concert but I was just 16. And when it came the Tango tour, I still didn't have that much income to fly and go to a concert, besides Lindsey not being there was another reason to discard it. The 1997 reunion was like a dream came true, and so the 2014 reunion was, too.

Did I ever tell you guys that the first time I saw them, I disliked them? I thought they were scruffy and druggy and looked like hard rock onstage. This was in 1976 in Los Angeles. In 1975, I was still a very avid pop music fan and was probably still listening to AM radio (Elton John, Seals & Crofts, Wings, KC and the Sunshine Band, Tavares, Spinners, Rose Royce). But I kind of liked Say You Love Me and Rhiannon on album, which didn’t sound much like the hippies playing live. It took me an Iowa minute to fall in love with them — it was probably when Go Your Own Way got airplay.

You like KC, eh? That’s another combo where the live shows provided a deeper, sweatier, sexier groove than the radio songs suggested… |
