I told them it was about Katrina—a hurricane twenty five years into the future.

I think its an urban legend
I f*cking SWEAR that I heard it. Maybe it.......

You know what? You're RIGHT!

It was Don't Let Me Down Again. THAT'S what I was thinking of, and the key dropped.

It was about a Prince I would meet and flirt with later on. He and I would become great friends and he would play on many of my songs. And the Springs were made of Silver. (laughs)

The Prince thing is creepy. Especially after watching the YouTube video.

I guess she was respected by fans way more than other artists. There's a few stories I've seen about her where people didn't want her around. I'm sure that's not the case anymore. She has legendary star power.

I think the Wham story is wackier than the Prince story. She melted down when she could not get back stage and security did not recognize her. Andrew (Wham member) was contacted and had to console her. You can tell he did not want to embarrass her telling the story. He left out all the details but its such a juicy story that when he wrote his book, he had to tell. The story left me frustrated because I want to know what exactly happened. Did she spend the night backstage dancing or something? He just said it was a very odd experience. This was summer 1985 when she should have been working on the final touches of RAL.

Haha, good one. Although it's pretty predictable at this point.

Really? Here it is. I have to laugh because she was eventually let in but was so emotional about it that Andrew could not calm her down.

Stevie: Don't you know who I think I am? I'm the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac. I'm on MTV for Christ's sake. Stand Back Stand back. C'mon guys let me in!

I'd give $500 to have been there and witnessed them turning her away, in person!

Its possible it was NOT because they did not know who she was but because the state she was in. She could have been inebriated and they said: No thanks. I mean c'mon, Wham did have an image to hold up She was probably on the 3rd night of her all nighter.
Their security said: "Oh s**t, she better not start that Prince s**t here"

Thats a weird story. Why would Wham not let Stevie Nicks past their goons?
