Default Peter Jackson

I've seen bits and pieces of his LOTR movies (I never had any desire to see them because I'm not into those types of movies), but boy, he came a long way. I remember all of his older movies and they were some pretty demented flicks.

Anyone seen any of his pre-LOTR movies?

I loved The Frighteners, thought it was great fun, and Heavenly Creatures is one of my favourite films EVER!

I love the fact he makes all of his films in New Zealand. I wonder if he's gonna do that with King Kong.

Wow, King Kong with Jack Black and Naomi Watts, weird!
Brain Dead was retitled "Dead Alive" over here in the states and it is one of the sickest, grossest, goriest, hilarious movies I've ever seen. It really is fantastic. I read that the scenes with the son and the baby in the park were done after production was finished because there was almost $50,000 left in the budget.

I had a double feature awhile back of "Eating Raoul" and "Bad Taste," and that was a great night of fun.

Meet the Feebles is sick. It was funny in spots, but I got bored after awhile. It's Muppet porn!

The Frighteners was alright, nothing special, but Heavenly Creatures is one of the best movies of all time!!!!!!!!!!! That's a great movie, I could watch it over and over.
