Oh - mathematics state he def. has to win the centrist votes to win the election; that is where 90% of the votes are. But, I have always seen him as mostly centrist in that he believes in Constitutional rights, but with common sense limitations, like gun laws and abortion limits. So, I do not think he ever really played to you, though he said the closest thing to what you believe and still does for that matter.

I also think the press loves to play up minor things because it sells papers.

Well I wasn't overly thrilled with his recent "comprimise' vote on wiretapping or his past vote to continue the awful patriot act ..but he did come out against the war when it was unpopular to do so and I do believe he had then been in the Senate then h e would not have gone along with the initial vote to endorse it like Hillary ,Edwards,Kerry . and so many others did.

A luxury that got him the nomination IMO. And, IMO the US needed to vote to allow W to continue the inspections, which is what that vote was really for. Sadly, W abused his power.

As for the Patriot Act -- I think voting to chage the original version was a good thing as opposed to letting the original version stand, which is what would have happened. So, since he could not vote to get rid of the whole thing (which I am unsure is a wise thing as the PA has some very good sections) -- voting to strengthen judicial review and freeing the librarians was a good thing IMO.

As for the wiretapping liability waiver for phone companies, I do not know much about that one. So, I defer

I never quite got why people would say that W was the anti-Christ reprehensible though he may be ..the anti -Christ is supposed to be charming, charasmatic articulate and intelligent none of which Smirky is IMO..so with those criteria and particularly if you are a Repub I can see how some people would think that of Obama though to me Christ and the anti-Christ are no more real than Santa Claus and the Easter bunny.

Ahem. I'm still here. I'm so dismayed by the last four years politically that if you want to vote for McCain then whatever. Plus as you know I am not a huge Obama fan. But I'm going to vote for him because nothing else makes any sense to me.

Yet another one

You know, if you took all the self hating gay semen spewed by the allegedly Christian far right, it likely would fill a pool

Always question anti-gay activists.

The politics rumor mill is in high gear today!

Notoriously anti-gay Republican Alabama Attorney General Troy King was supposedly caught in his marital bed, by his wife, sexing it up with a young, gay, male assistant!!!

While in office, Troy's worked on outlawing homosexuality AND sex toys.

Troy has supposedly been banished from his home by his wife.

King was a potential GOP frontrunner for Governor in 2010 and an early endorser of presidential hopeful John McCain.

We're assuming that the GOP will not be supporting their allegedly gay comrade.

It's been speculated that King will be resigning from his AG position soon.

Self-hatred is not pretty, Troy!

wouldnt that make them hypocrites, because if they spewed it, would that be considered a sort of abortion of life, since the relig-a-tarded consider semen to be a life? If that is true then we could turn the table on 'em call them murderers too

With a chicken its called an omelet

I say hire those Norwegian Satanic Death Metalers (aka "The Real Deal") who would gladly enjoy making those relig-a-tards the guest of honors in the local church BURNING weiner roast (Of course the members of the church would be locked inside the burning churches and become useful firewood)

I'd pay to watch that on Pay-Per-View

I think it's interesting that the voting on this thing is not particularly close.
