Default Who could play Christine in the movie?

Over in the Rumours forum, there's a discussion of who could play Lindsey in a movie about FM. A harder question is, who could play Christine? I can't think of anyone, but then again I don't follow the motion picture scene. Any ideas?

Helen for present day Christine, but we need someone for the younger years. I'll have to think about it.

Helen Mirren would have been perfect! Definitely present day Christine

I think finding someone to play a younger Christine would be really difficult. I can't think of anyone that sounds right

Helen Mirren would be great, I thought aswell. It would be nice if they could make it a biopic, going from 1974-2009! Although, I think it should open on the night SN and LB met FM and close on the last song from The Dance

The only person I've ever thought looks like Christine is J.K. Rowling, and as she's not an actress, that will not work!

I could cope with Helen Hunt portraying her.

If they don't do the entire history of the band, it wouldn't be worth doing. Fleetwood Mac is more than just the Rumours era...when will people finally get that through their cranial cavities?

Never... And some fans even water it down even more to just SN and LB... not even the other 3 people on that album get any props.. It's quite short sighted...

Well, I'm not trying to find anyone who looks like Christine, but I'm just thinking of trying to capture the personality.

I know this seems odd, but based on her work in Grey Gardens which showcased her range and maturity, I'm going to say Drew Barrymore. I think she can do the musician, the humor, the excess, the strife-laden love, and the more serious withdrawn aspects.

I know she seems too frivolous for Christine, but I'm seen more depth from her recently and Chris does have a frolicsome side too, which plays into the more traditional side of Barrymore. I also really like Kate Isitt. Michele
