After the Cradle
I’m so thankful for all the music Lindsey has put out since Out of the Cradles release in1992. I have always been a Lindsey Buckingham fan on the Fleetwood Mac sound from the beginning. His solo work is amazing and would have been even better if the other 4 were part of his vision/timing over the years. Stevie Nicks solo career kind of ruined it for what could have been several more MAC albums….but at least we have a heck of a lot more albums from Buckingham/Nicks/McVie.

The songs that emerged from the 1995 Sound City sessions were particularly strong. Had they been released as a single solo album, it would have ranked among his all-time best work. Listening to the mixes from the 2001 leaks, it's apparent that the songs benefited from the additional mixing and mastering conducted in 2003, 2006, and 2008.

His having such a rich catalog is what makes it so unnecessary for him to do the same nine or so songs every single show. Would anyone leave a Lindsey solo show going, "I can't believe he didn't play 'Tusk'?!"
