Thank you sue! Mick is supposed to be there perhaps they did The Chain like the MusiCares concert. Stevie said she'd like to do more Fleetwood Mac songs in her solo show.

Great to have Stevie in the UK. Only 15 songs though! I would be disappointed if I went to a gig and only saw that many.

That's why she tells stories. 15 is all the poor thing can muster through...

It’s amazing that she sold so many tickets. Congratulations to her. But that has to be the worst setlist she’s played in recent times. My goodness. How hard is it to throw in something from one of your other albums like OSOTM or 24 Karat Gold? Or even one of your other FM songs like Silver Springs, I Don’t Want To Know, or Crystal.

Agree 15 songs is a tad poor, especially as the following night, same venue.
Kylie Minogue performed 23 songs…
Admittedly there is a big age gap but even so !!
(Personally I wouldn’t pay to see either)

Your post makes me wonder just how Stevie chooses her setlist. I mean, she’ll obviously sing Stand Back, Edge, and Dreams, and she always picks one deep cut (I Sing For the Things this tour, even though it’s already been dropped), but does Waddy have input? I just read that Stevie rehearsed Rooms on Fire for her 24 Karat tour, but didn’t include it- why? Is it a difficult song to perform? I can see why she wouldn’t perform Sorcerer, with the high notes, or Talk to Me, with the vocal intensity, but Room has neither of those.

I think she won’t perform any of the songs you suggested, UnwindedDreams- Silver Springs is so closely identified with Lindsey, she resents I Don’t Want to Know (which is BS and should have been performed on the last FM tour instead of I Got You) and Crystal is also too identified with Lindsey; however, any of these songs would have been a real treat if Harry Styles had duetted on them the other night! Can you imagine?!

Hi bwboy, did you see Stevie on any of her tours from 2001-2011? She sang Sorcerer without those beautiful falsetto notes but it still rocked. In 07 I think she used to go really high at the end with a "YEAAAAH" note. And she crush Talk To Me on the Street Angel Tour. She can still do it. I thought it noteworthy that when Stevie was called to the stage to accept her induction into the RRHOF - it was Talk To Me that was played over the arena's PA.

We know Stevie is the boss in her solo touring. I do think you're right that Wsddy has input. Waddy did want to perform Crying In The Night for years according to Stevie so she did it for her 2016 Tour. I loved her early 2023 setlist when I saw her in Seattle. Sara, I Sing For The Things, and Fall From Grace - though I've seen FFG and Sara many times live, hearing Sara in her solo set was incredible. But all three of those are already gone from the setlist.

I'd disagree with you that the 2022 setlist had a deep cut. That 2022 tour mirrored the 2016 Tour setlist. The new additions were three covers by Led Zep, Buffalo Springfield, and Tom Petty.

I think the argument for Stevie not playing the three FM songs I mentioned because they involve Lindsey is rubbish (and not what you think is rubbish). I'm just saying Stevie wrote the songs, sang on the songs (1998 Crystal featuring lead vocal), and Stevie claims her independence so she doesn't need to depend on Lindsey to be able to perform these songs - they're not his. And my position on Stevie's setlist choices for the 2018 Tour have been clear: they were her worst on any FM tour. It was a total stifling of Stevie's great contributions to FM. The first FM Tour since The Dance not to resurrect a Stevie FM song that hadn't been played in two decades or more/ or never played at all.

I think she's complacent and just figures the audience will eat up whatever she sings because they're awestruck being in the same venue with her.

It's a total departure from her 2011 comments where she said she'll never do the same setlist again and again. And for myself whose spent thousands and thousands on her, it's depressing that she's gone back to the casino setlist days.

I’ve seen Stevie 3 times- Street Angel, Enchanted, and Trouble in Shangri-La, and I would say I was fortunate in the sense that for those 3 tours, her set lists were incredibly varied. I totally get what you’re saying about being disappointed with her last few tours, though. I can’t imagine paying those ticket prices today for 15 songs, that’s horrible, and there’s no excuse for it. When she drops a song, she should replace it.

I can’t imagine ever seeing her again solo, but I would see FM again if they got together again. I’m very thankful I got to see Christine on the last FM tour, performing with a confidence I’d never seen from her before. I suspect if people had known that was going to be her last tour, they might have gone to see her, and I don’t want to have any regrets and pass up an opportunity to see Lindsey, Mick, Stevie, and John together one last time. Not saying it will happen, but if it did I’d go.

Those three tours were awesome! TISL had five or six new songs too - though you're not into new songs at a concert In Your Dreams was an incredible tour (but she did begin shortening Edge and Annabel Lee that tour).

For my own dollar, it's not the length of her show that bothers me but the songs she performs. I think the 2022 setlist was her most boring setlist since 2008. 2023 I enjoyed and was "surprised" by, even with the two covers. I think Stevie's doing 13-15 songs rather than 20 because she's almost 80 and it's more taxing for her to perform. She's not maturing as well as Springsteen or Jagger.

I do like new songs being performed in concert, honest! But only if the new album is good LOL! Trouble was Stevie’s last good album, IMO, and by sheer coincidence, she sang all my favorites songs from the album- Planets of the Universe, Bombay Sapphires, Too Far From Texas, Sorcerer, and Fall From Grace.

When I saw FM for their Say You Will tour on opening night, I was stunned they performed so many new songs, but since I wasn’t a fan of that album, it was a little disappointing. Especially since they didn’t sing Thrown Down, my personal favorite. When I saw FM in 1990, I was disappointed they didn’t sing more songs from the album- they performed In the Back of My Mind, Love is Dangerous, and Stand on the Rock, but I thought they would have sang Save Me, Skies the Limit, When It Comes to Love, and Freedom as well. But they didn’t.

If Stevie isn’t going to record anymore, but still keep touring, I agree with you that she needs to drop the cover songs and go back to deep cuts and hits she hasn’t performed in decades, such as Talk to Me, Rooms on Fire, and I Can’t Wait. Those three songs alone would improve her setlist dramatically. And even as you pointed out, she’s older, but she’s also taking more time off between concerts than most folks, which should help her keep her energy level up.

I think a lot of younger fans were sad Silver Springs wasn't played - it has gained lots of popularity on TikTok.

How does this sound for a set?

Blue Denim
Sorcerer
Gold Dust Woman
Rock and Roll
Rooms on Fire
Ooh My Love
Candlebright
Sleeping Angel
If Anyone Falls
Stand Back
Dreams
All the Beautiful Worlds

Edge of Seventeen
Rhiannon
Landslide

Some new, some old, some rock, some ballads, some deep cuts, some hits, three encores.

Can I through out Rock and Roll and put in Talk To Me, David? If yes, this setlist is incredible! It'll never happen - especially Edge as first encore and not the closer of the main set I love Blue Denim as the opening song!

In 2014, she said she was going to play All the Beautiful Words when she toured for 24 Karat Gold. Never made it to the setlist - 3 songs from that album on that tour. Another example of her lies in recent times.
