Question Where are Danny's guitars?

It looks like there's hardly any real knowledge concerning the whereabouts of Danny's guitars. Apart from the story of the Strat that was retrieved by Danny's ex-wife (with the alleged intention of giving it back to him) and the claim that his gold-top Les Paul had eventually ended up as a refinished red-top, I couldn't find any answers. Has anybody heard more or does ACTUALLY KNOW something at all . . . ?

Probably pawned for booze, decades and decades ago.

Yeah, I guess most of us strongly suspect that this is the case, and so do I. But I thought that maybe there's the one or the other out there who might actually KNOW something.

Such as the story about the gold-top having been refinished as a red-top one time - I only read about that, but I wonder where that "info" came from and how valid it is indeed. That very guitar, for example, had a big impact on me personally, as it was Danny's playing and appearance with it that made me acquire a gold-top Les Paul myself decades ago. (And btw Peter's and Danny's habits of taking off the Paula pickguards were instrumental (in the truest sense of the word!) to my opinion that a Les Paul looks much better without one.)
