Hey, this interview was pretty awesome. I love how laid-back they are, and the ease in which Sean discusses his dad, mom, and brother. I used to think it was cool for music star's offspring to be guarded about discussing their musical lineage/family members, but Sean has now made that front a bit uncool- sorry J. Dylan. I'm respecting the way Sean can hold his father's grand legacy with such reverence, proudly boast about his brother's amazing successes, cheer on about his mom's total uniqueness, and yet still be content to talk about his own accomplishments. That is pretty incredible. And this family is already handing out "freakin' amazing" buttons as it is. My goodness.

i'm pretty sure you guys have seen this before, but posting just in case (sorry if it's a repeat):
http://www.uncut.co.uk/news/uncut/news/14622

A collection of John Lennon's letters are to be published next year.

Lennon was a prolific letter writer and the collection includes hundreds of letters he wrote throughout his life.

The letters were sold by the late Beatle's widow Yoko Ono for a reported fee of over £500,000 and have been bought by London-based publishing house Orion Books.

The physical copies of the letters were in the possession of The Beatles biographer Hunter Davies, but the intellectual property rights were owned by Ono - it is these that Orion have bought, reports The Guardian.

Alan Samson of Orion Books said: “These letters have never been collected in one place before, and for the most part they have never been seen before."

He added that the letters are "full of wonderful drawings. They are funny, sad and very human letters".

The collection is scheduled to be published in October 2012.

Aww, thank you msLinds for posting the revised review. I know the pics weren't the greatest ever, but they were pretty cool. If anyone here is interested I can post a couple. Anyway, mslinds I do have a question...did you post a site where one can actually buy Julian's prints? I guess I thought it was posted here and assumed you...I can't remember if it was a site run by him or the gallery, but I'm sort of interested in looking at it. If you know what I'm talking about- ANYONE- just post it here. Thank you!!!

Love them! Thanks mslinds! Here's a new article. I think it's cute how Sean wants to connect with everything about his dad, even if it may not have been one of John's most...uh, beloved moments.

source: http://www.examiner.com/beatles-in-n...adour-where-da

Beatle's son asks to see L.A. Troubadour spot where dad John Lennon was ejected

Sean Lennon and his Ghost of a Saber Toothed Tiger performed Sunday night at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. It was sort of an interesting convergence that Sean was in the same place that his dad John Lennon was kicked out of in a now infamous incident in 1974 also involving Harry Nilsson and May Pang. (See Rolling Stone's account of the incident here.) The incident is probably the most well-known during Lennon's post-Beatles "Lost Weekend" separation from Yoko Ono.

Those attending the show Sunday night included Gillian Lomax, who is the tour guide for A Magical History Tour which travels to all the Beatles-related spots in the Los Angeles area. Gillian told us Monday in a phone interview that Sean Lennon told the audience that he'd be around after the show if anyone wanted to meet him.

"I gave him my flyer and invited him on the tour," she said. "And he said, 'Hey, my dad got bounced out of here. And he said, 'Do you know exactly the spot?' And I showed him!"

What did Sean say when you showed him the spot? "He was just like, 'Wow,' I didn't know!'," she laughed.

She explained that there aren't that many spots where John Lennon could have left the club. "He could have gone out the back door. He could have gone out the other door out by the bar. But he went out the front door."

Is Sean going to do your A Magical History Tour of Los Angeles Beatle spots? "Well, you never know!," she laughed.

(Anyone else think this lady looks a LOT like Stevie Nicks?)

Here's the legendary picture of John Lennon being escorted out of the Troubadour (bad Johnny!!!)

Default candid photos of Sean & Charlotte shopping...

This thread is just going to be about anything we can find I guess. Here's some pic posted on the Daily Mail of Sean & Char shopping in the LA area. Apparently they were getting a present for Yoko.

It was found on one of the many idiotic articles that make a huge deal about a son looking like his dad so people can comment about how much Sean doesn't deserve to but what's new? Anyway, you can find more there! And I know this should be a peace/loving thread...so some of us love Sean and it's cool to read the nice things people say. You can feel however you want about the other stuff.

Default Thanks for the Articles Nico

Thanks Nico for posting those new articles.I posted them on other boards.I agree with your views about the comments people make about Sean looking like his Dad.
I also didn't get to see Sean and Charlotte perform here tonight. I don't have a ticket to see The Goastt in my city. Its sold out,it wasn't that I didn't have the money for the ticket.I would have gladly paid alot more to see them perform live. There are a number of reasons.Including not wanting to go by my self. Not being able get a friend to go with me in spite of that I would have offered free tickets by me etc.The friends that would have gone live many hours away from here. The timing was not good,to go with me.There also has been heavy emotional stuff going on with my family that don't live in this state anymore. At least no else has died or sick. But its been going on for weeks now and its been very hard emotionally on me and my family. At least things are calming down a little finally regarding that, for now. Also that place they are performing at is not very accessible to those with any kind mobility problem at all.I am not disabled or crippled,I don't have a limp. But it would have made it more difficult for me,with a very steep staircase they have.Since I broke my ankle bone a few years ago.In spite of how disappointed and sad I am about not being to see them perform live this time. This is not first time I have a missed a concert or show I wanted to go to.My favorite band Fleetwood Mac, thats my first love in music and my number one love and allways will be.It took along time for me to finally get to see them perform live.I will see Sean and Charlotte later in the future. I will be there with them in spirit tonight. I will be sending them positive energy and love.I want them to stay safe and healthy while performing and traveling and have a great time and enjoy themselves.Everyone have a good evening and take care. This thread is indeed now about anything we find John Lennon,or Sean or Julian, or Yoko or Beatles related now.lol

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your family msLinds. I understand completely how some things are simply beyond your control. But you put your family first! That is the most important things. I'm sure there will be another GOASTT/Sean tour in your area in the future and I'm sure you will get a chance to see them. As is, you are so up-to-date on the recent video postings on youtube and such...it's almost as if you've seen every single show. I hope things clear up for you and your family soon! It's awesome that this cool thread YOU started is still going, and I intend to help it continue as long as that is cool with everyone else.

Keep posting that Lennon stuff!!!!!

How can you not love this man? Haters be gone.
