it's not boring and pointless to me and several others. I enjoy reading what others are listening to because it reminds me of how much I like this song or that artist or whatever. and when it's something I've never heard and they comment about it, I scurry off to listen and have found artists, like Saving Jane, that I listen to constantly now simply from seeing someone post that they are listening to a song. so, while it may seem like a useless thread, it's fun and worthwhile to some.

Oh, I've been posting here and there, though I've been doing quite a bit of travelling lately, so there have been a number of weeks where I was nowhere near this place.
