They did play in France on the Unleashed, Rumours and 2013 tours. Couldn't find the attendance info of those shows, but the Live CD book mentions 5,000 people for the Tusk tour Paris show. Very little audience compared with the Munich show (30,000) or the 6 London shows (8,000 each), specially since at that time Fleetwood Mac at the top of its fame.

Of course, the decision to include a city depends on several factors, but it could be said that France has not been a very attractive market for Fleetwood Mac compared to other european countries.

Well, I suppose there wasn't much more I could do to drum up some interest, given that there will never be another tour to promote.I did my best.

I just played Stop Dragging on the jukebox, and literally there were 4 patrons who were mocking her voice in the bar. And I mean MOCKING. It was really funny.

I think her voice was in good shape in 1981, though it's true it had already changed comparing to 1975-77. If I had to mock or comically imitate her "goat" voice (though actually it reminds me more of Donald Duck), it would be Silent Night. I know many loved that performance, but I completely dislike her voice in that song.

But what about RAL? I think there are about 4 songs on that album where the vocal is ok. The rest of it is fried or inaudible at times. That sad part is she was living in a bubble and she was on top of the world (at least in her mind) so she could not hear the destruction in her voice. No one dared tell her either that her voice was shot.
IMHO her peak vocals were 1980 to 1983 (pre-Wild Heart tour). The 1983 tour with Joe was the beginning of her unraveling. She was kept from press interviews, concerts were recorded but never released. She still had power and range on some nights but she was going to hit the wall really soon. Even 1982 during the Mirage tour she was still hitting the highest of high notes on Sara yet Rhiannon was a vocal fry mess. Bella Donna (album and tour) she was on top of her game.
Once she got off coke her voice recovered some for a bit before the next wave of klonopin kicked in.

Edge of 17 was on BBC radio 2 yesterday.
This is never heard on national Radio…never. I did a double take thing….and even then I stopped and checked I was hearing right.
