![]() I just watched few minutes ago the latest video at Lindsey channel, with her daughter. They discusses, briefly as in the previous video, the Go Insane song.
Sure there are several things to comment, but what caught my attention was something that Lindsey said "When we made the Tusk album in 79, they didn't have videos yet". Though I have heard that many times, it is not entirely accurate, in fact it is not true. Yes, many of the 70s videos were just the band playing in a stage or studio, like Roxanne by The Police, but there were several music videos with a good visual production in the late 70s, like Queen, Boomtown Rats, Abba, Pink Floyd, etc. Let's remember Video Kill the Radio Star was released 2 years before MTV appeared.

![]() The Tusk song had a video of them in Dodger Stadium with the marching band.

![]() In defense of Lindsey, I think he meant to say was Go Insane was from the MTV video era and Tusk was not. MTV was not around during Tusk and record companies did not insist on videos back then.
I love that LeeLee stopped the video and asked if he had any creative controls over it and if his hair was really like that in real life. Those were always my 2 questions too ![]()
