Oh Well - Can someone help me out?
I was just watching the Tango video today and had forgotten just how great that version of "Oh Well" is and I'm hoping someone can (or already has) rip the audio of it for me and make it into an MP3.
I'd greatly appreciate it. |

I've always felt that Billy did a much better job of the song than Lindsey. In fact, Billy's renditions are second only to Peter's original, in my eyes.
"Oh Well" (Live @ the Cow Palace - 12/12/87)

Hey Vicky,
I don't have the audio rip from the DVD, but I do have Oh Well from Salt Lake City, 11/28/87, and Gothenburg, Sweden, 10/28/88. SLC: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...D86E222BF66075 Gothenburg: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...C478831B0F1BF8 |

God, now I'm all confused! Yeah, I meant singing it. I felt he put more "oomph" into it than Lindsey.

I really love the Tango version of Oh Well too, but I don't really know the original one that well.
I think Billy does a great job. |

This is going to piss off a few, but I think Billy did the song the best (alone, BTW), followed by Bob (who really did a lot of interesting things with the Green material), then a tie between Lindsey and Peter.

Vito & Burnette
Well all I can say is it took two guitarists to try and replace Lindsey and as we all know that failed! So I rest my case )))

I used to be one of those people, but these days I find that I prefer Burnette to Buckingham. He's a superior lyricist and is FAR more prolific in terms of actually getting material RELEASED. Last Billy Burnette solo album: 2006 Last Lindsey Buckingham solo album: 1992 And, of course, both Time and Behind the Mask rank higher on my list than Rumours. I still love me some Lindsey, but he's not the be-all end-all of Fleetwood Mac guitarists and neither is Peter Green. |
