Stevie totally would get a band of hired hands to do a Mac-oriented tour if it came to that. But as long as she can tour solo, I'm thinking she won't. She wants to cement HER legacy. She did say at some point in the not too distant past that there are only so many precious years left where she can be "Stevie Nicks" ie her appearance, her mobility, her stamina to give the kind of shows and public appearances that she's gotten famous for. There's only so much filler and botox in the world, and her ankles won't balance on high heels forever.

If, for some reason however she / her mgmt team DID decide it was a good idea to try and put a tour of FM music together, I do think Mick would jump right in there. As someone said before, he would totally do a Fleetwood Nicks tour if offered money.

None of that is surprising. What remains to be seen is what would LB do?? In the past I would have bet my house he would have laughed in their faces if asked to join. Now....I'm not so sure.....

John will not tour again. A one-off?? Maayyybeeee...
You know what? I hope I am wrong but your statement about a one off could happen. I could see next year the band playing one concert honoring Chris and then hanging it up for good.

That’s ok if John wants to stay retired- Fleetwood Mac could still carry on with Mick, Stevie, Mike, and Neil!

Ok, my work is done. I’m leaving by the back door to avoid all the bricks about to be thrown at me lol!

It’s the most feasible option. I don’t see John ever touring again and Lindsey seems to be a crapshoot because of his health (if he’d even be allowed to participate). I can’t imagine Stevie having an incentive for a long-term Fleetwood Mac commitment. As for Mick, who knows? I’m sure he’d love to tour, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Christine’s passing knocked a lot of wind out of his sails.

They’re old, but they’re also Fleetwood Mac and Irving is probably fielding any offers. It’s hard to turn down that kind of money to play music.

I agree with some others that John is probably done with everything. For good. I would be surprised if he ever plays again. Maybe he'll prove me wrong.

At some point, Mick, I think, would love to do something else that is fleetwood mac related. Hopefully by this point in his life he has gotten himself together financially, but he might just wanna do it because fleetwood mac has been his life.

just not sure who would do it with him. A one off tribute kinda thing...maaaaaybe stevie and lindsey would do that. but a tour?? i just can't see that happening.

My god, let it go. Go see your queen as many times as you can, before she kicks the bucket. I hope you get to see her a hundred times. BUT NOT WITH FLEETWOOD MAC, BECAUSE THEY'RE DEAD.

That’s insanely ridiculous.

You’d still need a bassist. Someone like Mike Mills.

Weirdly, I was only being half tongue-in-cheek with that. The only reason I thought of Mills is because he said John McVie was his inspiration for the “Losing My Religion” bass line.

Fleetwood Mac's touring future: Al Ortiz on bass. Ricky Peterson and Darrell Smith on keyboards. Carlos Rios takes over for Neale Heywood.

Please. It’s Fleetwood Mac. It’s going to be Steve Ferrone on “auxiliary” drums, Benmont Tench on keyboards, Ron Blair on bass, and Scott Thurston on guitars/keyboards.

Ferrone over Taku Hirano for supplement? Then don't forget The Webb Sisters on bgv.

I never knew this! So cool—and that bass line DOES sound like John.

In 2024 Stevie will reunite with Mick. A tour will be announced with Sheryl Crow as a new member. Neil Fin will also be included on this tour.
