Lightbulb Can we make Tusk Doc on Warner Archive DVD a reality?

Fans of old(er) Warner Bros movies here will know what WB are doing with their old movies they feel don't merit getting proper DVD release but they know a good number of fans want them so they started the Warner Archive Collection, an "on demand” DVD-R burning service and it must be working for them since they're releasing more and more movies as part of the series every month.

Well, though they are mostly doing movies at this point, I did notice they’ve released some music and/or artist orientated things like Ugh! A Music War, and Gilda (Radner) Live etc.

So I wonder if they’re dipping their tows in the water on their more specialist material that are most likely of interest to fans of such artists (like Gilda in this case).

If it is, I noticed they seem to respond best to their Facebook requests on their wall (NOT the message board) so I wondered if anyone here wanted to request a DVD-R issue of the Tusk doc (since that’s the one thing from their catalog they would be able to release?

Couldn’t hurt, I already suggested this on the wall a ways down but thought I’d post the link here in case anyone wants to chuck in some requests, maybe if there are a bunch they’ll be forced to answer as you’ll see they have done to some.

Even if they say “no” at least we’ll know once and for all.

Also, at least they are honest and admit they aren’t restoring the titles they issue on these discs but I bet whatever print they would use will be better than our old VHS copies and I do admire that they are at least trying to make an effort to reach out to sales for more oddball titles that otherwise can’t be obtained like the back catalog to any other studios out there who haven’t made this effort yet.

So here’s the link and let’s cross our fingers and toes on this one

I think we won't get a formal release of the Tusk documentary, and I think it has something to do with the awesome and bra-less 'Angel' dance near the end of the performance, because it's evidence that she fudged about when she got her implants. Those are her real hooters, implants don't jiggle like that. So, anyway, an expert told me.
I think her weight fluctuation (from the start) and some creative undergarments made people believe her that her first implants came circa 'Rumours' but I still doubt that. Look at the Angel dance. Thats all-natural Stevie bouncing.
Imo, the implants happened about 10 years later than she claimed they did. The reason for 'lying'? Stoney memory? Or, something 'frivilious' blamed as a decision in her 20s, rather than on the edge of 40, was easier on her pride.

Further clarification: I know some people have posted pics that do suggest Stevie may have had implants right around 'Rumours'- they would picture the 'Obie Lighting' t-shirt from the mid 70s when she was quite thin, in which she looks rather small in the chest, and then we have the voluptuous Stevie on the back and inside sleeve of the 'Rumours' lp- she was chestier for sure, but I think it was the result of maybe a 10 pound weight gain and an enhancing undergarment, or even retouching, and the clingy dress at her chest on the back of the lp.
In contrast, the '75 Fleetwood Mac lp, she looks rather gaunt, and brunette, on the back of the lp, but the top she's wearing isn't exactly chest-enhancing. The Rumours tops were chest enhancing, and she'd gained a tad of weight between 75 and 77, not much, and was dressing and playing the sex-bomb to the hilt. In the 'Tusk' documentary, she looks healthy but not immense, and she jiggles, a lot. Nothing in the 'Mirage' videos or live video suggest implants to me. I saw every tour since '82. There were widely circulcated 'Wild Heart' concert photos of her braless wearing a slip on stage. The breasts look real and not real large, the photo was taken during a slimmed down phase she had as the tour progressed and was published in the rock magazine Creem. Yet, she was heavier and chestier at the May, 1983 US Festival performance several months earlier.
I believe the implants took place in the late 80s. Her chest drew gasps- she was huge, quite suddenly at a 1988 Philadelphia Mac concert I saw. The following year, we saw a live 'Whole Lotta Trouble' in a rather shimmying performance- those huge breasts did not move, a bit, they stayed in place the whole time. During Angel in '79 and '80, they're flopping all around.

'How'dja get that black eye, Maudie"--- old sitcom reference
"I was jumping rope without a bra" 'Maude' replied to the nosy neighbor.

So wait, WB won't release Tusk doc on DVD cause Stevie wasn't wearing a bra and jiggling around too much during one song? No offense, but that just sounds hilarious and ranks in stupidity with why Disney won't release Song of the South on DVD in the US (I heard it's cause of one scene involving Blackface, and that could easily be fixed with a disclaimer about how it was made in a very different time), but still, it makes me mad that one little suggestive scene would prevent a great doc from getting a proper release.

I think if there's any reason for it not to be released it'll be because it can't make it through the legal minefield that sames to take down any FM related release these days. After all, the Rumours rerelease with the DVD has vanished off the face of the planet with no explanation.

For a band that loves making money they sure do make it hard for us to give them it.

MissLadyLoki, in answer to your question, it is not the issue of her 'jiggle' at all, it is the reality that it exposes what was likely a lie that Stevie told that may have held up the Tusk documentary release.
Enough time has passed now, though, that she may decide 'who cares what I said when I was 50?' which would be a great attitude. It doesn't matter when she got her t*t job At the time, I think she found it less vacuous of herself to blame her decision as having been made in her late 20s than when she was 40-ish.
All footage of the legendary 5 of them together needs to be available for purchase by their fans, it keeps showing up online anyway, so they oughta start packaging themselves like The Rolling Stones do. The rollingstones.com website is full of great rarities from the 60s and 70s, some very reasonable in price, some as expensive as $2500. And their 'Exile On Main Street' re-issue came in at #2 on Billboard's Album Chart as a re-entry last week, and #1 on the Catalogue Albums Chart. And the Stones are a good 5 years older than Fleetwood Mac. I think Stevie and Fleetwood Mac will eventually make a lot available to the fans, they just aren't quite there yet!
