Petty is awesome. I would like to see Blondie too, I've never see them! Keep me in the loop when tickets go on sale. I don't get out to see as much live music as I would like to! I want to see Tori this time around too.

Default So far I have tickets for...

Scissor Sisters - 1/29 San Francisco

Duran Duran - 2/26 Los Angeles

Duran Duran - 3/2 San Jose

Erasure - 5/20 San Francisco

Erasure - 5/25 San Francisco

Here's hoping a Lindsey show makes the list sometime this year...

Here are some of the artists from previous years. Many I wanted to see, but couldn't because of conflicting schedules (Modest Mouse, String Cheese Incident, etc.)
This festival is for the real music lover. You should check it out. My friends are on the cover of the 2003 Bonaroo DVD. Of course I wasn't standing with them!

I watched David Byrne, Dave Matthews, and Bob Dylan among others from atop my RV. It's the best time you'll ever have. And no, it's not anything like Woodstock '99 (I was there). Every kind of musician is there, and ain't no way you can't enjoy yourself.

one word- BONNAROO
heres this years line-up so far:
Widespread Panic (2 shows)
Dave Matthews Band
The Allman Brothers Band
Jack Johnson
Alison Krauss & Union Station
Modest Mouse
Gov't Mule
Bela Fleck Acoustic Trio
The Mars Volta
John Prine
Yonder Mountain String Band
My Morning Jacket
Keller Williams
STS9
Earl Scruggs & Friends
Joss Stone
O.A.R.
Toots and the Maytals
Umphrey's McGee
Iron & Wine
Ozomatli
Rilo Kiley
Karl Denson's Tiny Universe
Drive-By Truckers
Particle
Joanna Newsom
Xavier Rudd
Ray LaMontagne
The Gourds
Secret Machines
Donna The Buffalo
John Butler Trio
Ollabelle
Citizen Cope
Brazilian Girls
M. Ward
Madeleine Peyroux
I have always wanted to go to Bonnaroo! I only live like three hours from there. I haven't been because no one will go with me, and I just haven't had the balls to go by myself. It is more of a "group" event. It is extremely sad that I haven't been, seeing how bad I want to go. My friends should take pity on me and go once. Have you been before, Sunmaiden? I would love to hear about it!

Now to answer the question: I'm going to see Robert Earl Keen with some friends in Feb. That should be pretty fun, but that is the only show I'm going to as of now. No one is really coming relatively close to here that I really want to see, and I have been checking on it. I'm hoping this will change soon. I haven't seen any good, live music in months. It is about to kill me!

This is basically all of who i'd want to see, too. And if stevie tours, of course. And if Heart ever comes again - missed it recently. I'm kinda sad i missed Linda R., I might've wanted to see that. And, if Ani D' comes again, her last show was fricking awesome, I would see that again...

I'm sure Heart will tour this summer.

But I'll be too busy stalking Franz.

You think so soon again? How do you know? Hopefully for you, they'll be at different times. I would love to see a Franz show, but i won't be stalking them...thus possibly affording me money for more than one show!
First would be whichever member of Mac tours, then Blondie, then Petty. I mean, if I had to rank and choose...

MOTLEY CRUE. The Crue was my favorite concert when I was a kid so I hope they're going to kick ass this time around. I have a 12th row ticket so I'm excited. I'll try to upgrade if I can but I'm pretty happy that I found 12th row.

from the reports I have read is that the new Motley stageshow will dwarf their "Dr.Feelgood" stage, Which from the past reports was amazing...So maybe this upcoming tour will be worth a peek afterall (I saw Motley Crue in 1987 with Whitesnake as the opener on the "Girls, Girls, Girls" tour) since they are playing OKC in May (Near the date of my birthday too)

Gonna see Mark Knopfler at the Royal Albert Hall in late May. Should be awesome...!

At some point this year or next year, David Gilmour and Roger Waters are going to be touring (before any Floyd fan has a heart attack, no, not together, unfortunately). I plan on going to at least one RW show, and to EVERY Gilmour show in the UK.
