pittsburgh performance of ISO
I've been listening to "I'm so afraid" lately and I am just amazed by how passionate LBs playing sounds...it leaves me quite exhausted at the end ( and the crowd seem to be the same! ) Seems like it's alot faster than the last version we know ( The Dance)....., I'm guessing his stage performance goes along with that as well...is this where he does his "pawing" thing? Neil, as you were there, maybe you can fill us in
What does everyone else think?

Yes he is doing the pawing thing here in the end, just like on come and GYOW. That means... if he was doing in Pittsburgh the same thing he did in dallas and OKC...
But I agree, I looked at the dance-version the other night, but it looks lame (in terms of totally controlled) compared to the version he's doing now...so intense, so paced on intuition...yes mick and john contribute to that a great deal, too. And looking at him when he performs...he's totally losing it and goes bezerk... goosebumps again! gerald

I suppose this seems so much more rawer then The Dance as The Dance version was 'studiofied' by LB and mixed as he wanted it. This was LB live and raw in the flesh! LB live and raw in the flesh! Wondergirl9847 and the Lindsey lovin ladies - Calm Yourself

hey guys,
thanks for the info imput...Christy I'm still waiting for yours oops...I see I put ISO instead of ISA ( well, I did send this in very early this morning, obviously I was still half asleep!!) I just think it sounds great...almost comparable in sound and speed (of his playing) to his days of the Mirage Tour and lets not forget, our man is alot older than most guitarmen out there these days , but from what I'm hearing..he sure can give them a run for their money!

I'm back!!
Hey folks!! I've been gone for the past couple of days (Michele, check yer PM btw!!), and I'm listening to ISA from Pittsburgh, which I started listening to before I left, but didn't get to ISA. I'll tell you something else, WHEN I get the Dallas ISA...I'm gonna DIE because I seriously lost it during ISA...he was ON during that song (sounds like he is ON during ISA EVERY SINGLE TIME he does it!!), and I was feelin' it....IMO, it's his THEME song (as well as mine) and he plays NO other song like THAT one. Yes, he does paw during ISA and GYOW like Gerald and Neil said, I was only expecting it during Come!! I'm wondering his thought process in thinking of doing that pawing thing. Like did he sit down and go "Okee, what should I do during those three songs, hmmm....I KNOW!! Paw at the guitar like a crazy wackjob and drive all the fans NUTS!!!!!!!! I AM A GENIUS!!" LMAO!!
He's to the solo...right around time 4:39-40 gives me CHILLS...that subtle change....HOLY CRAP!! The note goes UP...and it is amazing how one note can make you wanna hear a song 4,000,000,000 times in a row!! LOL YES, he's playing a little faster and harder than The Dance (woosies couldn't take it...no offense to LA peeps LOL!) Right around 6:30-the end...SICK AND FRICKIN AMAZING!!
