I’ve worked with people struggling with addiction. The fact that she quit cocaine after one stint in rehab is surprising. She should take credit for staying off drugs. It’s a miracle none of the Rumours 5 have died of a drug overdose. |

Remember when Stevie saved Lindsey after his heart attack. Her note to him saved him.

C'mon I cant believe even you believe this rubbish. So Mick is lying in his book how everyone including management "forced" her to go. If she did not feel forced then why did she retaliate against her management company? When you ditch rehab you fail mister. Talk to any substance abuse counselor. If she had been on probation, she would have been arrested for such an act. Her inspiration for Escape from Berlin was her escape from rehab. Its a play on words but people were shot and swam under icy rivers to escape Berlin. This was her analogy of how she felt. Her words, not mine.

Landslide is about her saving Lindsey’s life through the healing power of over-obvious advice. She realizes this now.

She's also said she went to rehab because she was mad at everyone for telling her she "had" to go. But then again, what is "had"? Is that force? |

The world would have most likely ended in 1975, if $tevie hadn't saved the world by joining FM.

Bills.
Cocaine bills. They've written cocaine bills for her. In her darkest hour...

And just imagine how insulting that is to the people that actually helped her through the drug addiction, and had to put up with and endure her abuse while doing so.
I bet she was really nice to everyone that was trying to "tell her when to stop it". Give me a break. ...And credit to Aleuzzi for finishing my thought for me.

As for why she “retaliated” against her company, I don’t know why but I would suspect she fired them because she didn’t think they were doing a good job, or she didn’t like how they did things. They did an intervention for her after her tour was over. Not while she was recording RAL, not before her tour, and not during the tour, but after. You’d almost think they wanted to make sure their commodity made as money as she could for their company before they intervened to get her into rehab. But that’s business for you. |

I know plenty of addicts who believe they failed if they didn't reach a milestone of sobriety, i.e. 30 days. Treatment isn't just about stopping the specific drug use. It's about mind, body, and soul. Hence, quitting the drug isn't the only goal but rather a transformation of being into a spiritual person and a grateful one. See The Serenity Prayer. |
