No "bad" publicity. There is only one thing in life worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about (Oscar Wilde).

Actually I learned about new LB album when I read the divorce new.

Saw this on Twitter earlier today. Given the events of the last 3 yrs, it made me a little nauseous, to be honest...

This is pretty sad, especially in light of her considerable public support of him when he was fired, but no one is too old to divorce. Regardless of their age gap, they’re both entitled to happiness on their own terms. Hope this split isn’t too hard on the kids.

On another note, it appears John is the only one of the Rumours five who has achieved a successful second-act marriage. Go figure!

And if they ever do get married, they can get the ghosts of MLK, John Lewis, and JFK to officiate. I mean, seeing as Stevie knows them so well from her dreams...

He wouldn't go back with her for those shameful lyrics alone.

I take that back, she knows struggles like MLK, Lewis and JFK. She worked as a waitress. Lindsey knows that she needs a certain kind of attention.

I don't understand your analogy or your premise.

You wouldn’t say that to Bob Dylan!

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Poor Lindsey… even in a thread about his divorce, Stevie ends up dominating the topic!

The timing of the divorce after Lindsey sold his catalog does seem like it was just as much a money thing as anything else. But even if he has to give Kristen half the profits, he shouldn’t go hungry.

But it does happen. And not necessarily alone (though probably in this case they will). Mario Vargas Llosa, (Nobel Prize in Literature 2010), got divorced in 2015, almost at 80 yo. He finished his 50 years marriage for Isabel Preysler (Julio Iglesias ex wife).

When I read that, I remember a popular expression: Smallpox at old age!!!

I think things were definitely not ok before his firing/heart attack judging by Kristen's social media. But it appeared things went better during his recovery.
They had probably been separated for a long time and for whatever strange reason decided to make it public the same day of this solo tour. His recent closeness with the band couldn't have helped in any way.

Any particular posts you’re thinking of when you say things looked like they weren’t ok before his firing/heart attack?
