This photo and the photo with Stevie really rock my world. They were not done by professional photographers. It seemed to be the last night of the tour and there was a celebration and someone with a camera took these photos. Either they were given to Chris as a gift or she liked them so much that she framed them. A very rare moment in her career and those photos are so valuable in my mind.

Thanks for rescuing that picture! I think I've only ever seen one other picture of that guy before, but it looks like him. Just think, if the 80s and 90s were the era of Real Housewives-style trash reality shows, and if Christine were the type of person to be on such a show, we could have had all the tawdry details of their marriage.

I'm not a fan of artists stuff, though I do like autographs and I have had few opportunies to get some.
Ok, some things may be interesting. Signed instruments, awards, etc. But a touring wardrobe hamper? I don't even find it nice. It may be useful for a touring artist, but even in that case, he/she would use one with his/her name stamped. https://bid.juliensauctions.com/lot-...ardrobe-hamper

At some point, I find this truly sad...
Sad to know her family just don't want to keep some important things of her and her golden years...I mean, I'm not against at all, I bet the family saw on this a good chance to bring fans to a more "private" face of Chris, and it's a charity thing...But in one point, if I was from the McVie family, I would like to have, for example, some keyboards or prizes! I know of course the family will keep lot of things, but I see on the catalog a very big amount of incredible stuff of her, so it's my first impression about this It's kinda break an amazing legacy... |

You know, the more I check out this auction, I'm not sure I should even bother going. Hell, a "Dinner, take it or leave it" sign, is up to $500. They're $14 online. I mean, we "THINK" it was Christine's, but who knows for sure? I don't want jewelry or knick knacks... I want something IDENTIFIABLE as being hers. Ugh.
I guess I'm shocked that her stuff is bringing so much money. I'd expect that when Old Goatsy kicks the bucket, but...

Of course! There are lot of many other importante things that her family will keep. And I take that last thing you said, that it's for Chris' fav charity, and to bring true fans to the closest things of hers. Thank you! |

For some reason I'm pretty sure the Perfect family don't want to keep this.

I might bid on the couch.
Not because it was owned by Christine, but because I kind of need a couch.

I had a dream last night about this auction. However in the dream Chris was still alive and looked like she did around 1987. I was given this large auction program when I entered. Chris was sitting at a large table. I was told she would only autograph things that were purchased. I was roaming around and most of the items were small photos, ash trays, and various knickknacks. She had a McDonalds ashtray from the 1980s that I thought was cool. I woke up before I bought anything or got to meet Chris. But I did get really close to her when I went inside before being told she would only sign things bought at the auction. It was not really an auction either. It was more like a garage sale but inside a hotel conference room. Chris looked radiant though.
