I think it's great. Listening to it all morning. It makes the most of 2022/23 Stevie and then some, unlike the Elton John track from 2021 (which, I'll admit, does pick up some steam if you have the patience). Wise for Albarn to employ her on a mid-tempo track with a simple yet solid melody because she knows what to do with the phrasing and the harmony. Also, fun juxtaposition to hear her sing about cluster bombs and love. Can he write/produce songs like this in his sleep? Probably. But who cares when it's done this well?

I like it a lot. It’s up there with the song she did with Maroon 5. I’m still not crazy about the Elton duet. Steve is still one heck of a harmonizer! Even with her current voice she still sounds real good.

I love the song, too. But I’m not hearing how Stevie is really adding much to an already solid track. She certainly doesn’t detract from it — I don’t mean that. But her special magic seems very mild here. I wonder what this band would do with one of her more structured songs.

This is the first that I've heard of the Elton John and Maroon 5 songs. Lucky me, with this new one, I got to go listen to all three of them for the first time one after the other.

I definitely rank the Gorillaz song in first place! I was struck by how good her voice sounded in combination with the male singer. The two voices are complementary, and the music sounds great! It was funny comparing it to the Elton John song in which the volume of Stevie's voice is turned way down in the middle of the chorus, basically to the level of an anonymous background vocalist.

I like all three of them, but the Gorillaz song is a lot better than the other two.

I like the song, a lot..but then he has a good voice, and he is a smart producer.
I think Stevie sounds okay on it, the best she can these days .

She should work with him again …and produce some new music.

I think it's an unexpected collaboration, that ends up working good and adds to the list. She adds mistery and texture, and the production is wise in the fact that she does harmony vocals to support the main singer and not overpowers him - a duet wouldn't have worked IMO, Damon is not a "great singer" to do that with her.

I’ve heard this a few times now, (it was on the radio this morning)
I think it sounds like a Stevie demo….

Oil and For What It's Worth are pleasant. I watched the Elvis movie last night and immediately noticed Stevie's voice in the beginning. Not a fan of the song Cotton Candy Land or her current voice unfortunately.

This will be her walkout music for this spring's tour.

I think it's a nice song to listen to while I lie down on my couch.

I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder, and this makes a nice sound in the background after I pop a codeine and lie down.

I read the liner notes for this album and I saw the name Matt Tuggle on every track. Is this the late great Brett Tuggle's child?

Relevance. Exposure.

Kinda sad that she craves it so much.

Her new producer Greg Kurstin(she fired Dave Stewart), produces the Gorillaz so that's why I think she did this track.
