The other one has some discussion of Lindsey's spinal tap. Christine asks Mick what she should say when asked about his condition. Someone else mentions the spinal tap and a comment is made about Lindsey "actually having a spine". (ouch!)

I love the one line from Chris regarding Hold Me, when she tells Stevie her temperature will rise when she hears Lindsey singing the song. PRICELESS! (and so true...LB sure can make a girls temperature rise)

Yes that is the one that I have.

We need to get these conversation tapes all organized. I am so confused.
Is LB anywhere to be found on any converstion tape? He really is such a hermit sick or not.

Thanks so much NicksIllume for transcribing the tapes!

The Conversations CD I have seems to be compiled of conversations from 1981 - the one that is typed out here. Or do you think it could be from early 1982?? I'm not sure because they are talking about recording Hold Me.

The part about the spinal tap is from Aug. 1978 b/c that is right after Lindsey had his seizure. I wonder why they were put on the same CD? But anyway, it is very confusing as to the dates.

Is this the one with Beverly Vance and Sara Fleetwood? Now, that one is very confusing to listen to.

I have Lindsey on a "convo recording". Its Mick, Lindsey and I think someone else. But they are in the hotel room flying paper airplanes out the window. And I think at one point Stevie walks in. Its pretty damn funny and you can hear the cars outside as they are flying them.

Hehe, there's not actually much that's worth transcription. It's Mick, Lindsey, Richard Dashut and Judy Wong in the room, I think. Maybe someone else too. Mostly what you hear is lots of cracking up by everyone while Richard bull****s about proper engineering principles for paper airplanes as they take turns sending paper airplanes out the window to see whose will go the farthest. There's lots of snickering, especially by Ms. Wong, which tends to make me think they were less than sober.

So, Lindsey still does not talk too much? Well, I still would like to have it. Thanks for filling us in on the CD.

Not too much. Richard and Mick do the vast majority of the talking. You hear more giggling from Lindsey than anything, I think, though he does pipe up a few times. Everything they're saying is all totally meaningless babbling. They must have been really bored.

What ever gave that impression? 3 "grown" men making airplanes and talking about the logistics of proper engineering...Why not make a beer can pyramid?

Thanks for posting this! It is TOO funny. And the thing is, you can just hear them saying all this-esp. Stevie..
