This.

Why are people overthinking a celebration of life service and reading into a eulogy? It’s a funeral for a bandmate, not an Easter egg hunt.

In the United States, I'm free to post. I'm not posting anything hateful.

Are you fine with Lindsey attending the service?

What does being in the United States have to do with anything? The First Amendment is a protection from the government. The Ledge isn’t a government-run website. You’re not free to post whatever you want on here, which is kind of bull****.

Of course I’m fine with it.

Christine McVie died. The people who knew her, worked with/for her, and loved her were celebrating her life. The band drama doesn’t matter in the least given the enormity of what’s happened.

I don't know why you bully.

You took a shot at Lindsey in this thread saying he "incessantly blabs about closure."

You’re disrespecting Christine’s memorial by trying to find Easter eggs in the paparazzi pictures and Mick’s eulogy. Just let it be.

So I did. Of course, that was in the context of how Christine and John remained close after their divorce.

I didn't say anything about the photos, but for who was in them and I did not disrespect Christine. Let The Moderators and Managers tell me if I did. You should be kind to people.

If you equate criticism with unkindness and bullying, then you’ve probably never been bullied.

However, this is about Christine.

I have been called a f***** my entire life so I have been bullied. If you found my post disrespectful, I apologize.

Here's to Christine in Heaven. I hope everyone felt love in the venue on Monday.

Were this so, there would be no "Present Band" forum.

The name of that forum is outdated and should change. Either merge it with Post-Rumours or call it Finnwood Mike.

Last year Christine said the band sort of broke up. Mike said he thinks the Fleetwood Mac ship sailed for him. Neil said he wouldn't lay claim to membership in the band if Lindsey were allowed back. Had the 2018-2019 band made an album (which I wish they had done) I would have said to keep it Present Band. I agree with you to merge it to Post-Rumours or I'd add 2018-2019 Fleetwood Mac Tour forum.

I don't think it can even be changed at this point. Marty doesn't have access anymore, obviously, and nor does the person who bought the site from us, because she sold it as well. don't think the new owners are involved in any way...

I just noticed this comment! you're welcome. I know stevie wrote that note/letter in grief, and meant well with her 'best friend in the world' comment. But i think John going to be with Chris proves who the best friends were. no greater example of what true friendship, devotion, compassion and love look like. still makes me very emotional.

Lis, I can change the subject heading, but I do not intend to at this time.
