MTV had to edit a "drugged up" Stevie Nicks
I would love to know which interview. The 1982 interview where Stevie can't even remember the phrase "I want my MTV", the US Festival interview in 1983 with Mark high as a kite, or her MTV Asia interview that is so sad at her peak klonopin addiction or something else.

Is this in reference to a Kurt Loder interview of Stevie? I don't remember anything extended he did with her. I remember the first generation of VJs interviewing her at some length from time to time, but not Loder. From his Rolling Stone days in the 70s, Loder was never a Nicks aficionado, to say the least, but the others loved her, especially Goodman and Nina Blackwood and Martha what's-her-name.
Maybe she was druggy-druggy for that 1985 interview for women in rock.
